So last week, we had the once in a lifetime opportunity to go to Game 7 of the WORLD SERIES!!!!! Holy cow, it was amazing!!! We got there early enough, to walk all around the stadium and even to walk down close to the field to take pictures! Man, there was soooooo much excitement in the air! I'm pretty sure I smiled for like 3 hours straight!! And then the game started.....a little less smiling, a little more nail-biting (except that I don't bite my nails....but you know what I mean). ;)
This is what happens when you give your camera to a stranger to take a picture of you! Haha. This was the view from our seats, though, so I'm so glad she snapped this picture for us!
We lost the game, which was sad for sure, but I'm soooo glad we got the chance to go to such a huge game! History in the making, and we were there!! I just felt so grateful all night! The World Series is major. But Game 7 of the World Series...in your own home town?? Well around here, it almost never happens! The last time the Kansas City Royals were in the World Series was when they won it TWENTY-NINE YEARS ago! I was 10 years old and in love with George Brett! Hahaha!
Needless to say, we were pretty happy to be able to be there. ;)
