Happy Valentine's Day!! I hope your day is full of love, romantic or otherwise!
It's the last day of the Papertrey Anniversary Countdown which means tomorrow is release day! All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on February 15 at 10pm EST. You'll definitely want to be sure to visit Nichole's blog today, to see the exciting announcements she's making!
Before you pop over there though, I've got a few more projects to share with you, featuring all the new products I have coming out this month. Let's start off with the Enclosed: Flower stamp set and dies!
For this first card, I decided to pile on some layers...lots of bits and pieces, starting with the main Enclosed: Flower die cut from luxe gold card stock. On top of that, I added a doily details die cut from hawaiian shores card stock. Next, came a couple of the new Keep It Simple Frames die cuts from dotted vellum and stamper's select white -- on the white layer, I stamped the "You won't regret it" from Enclosed: Flower. I tied a bit of black baker's twine on the vellum tag so that it peeks out from the side. And lastly, I added a Friendly Flower die cut from berry sorbet card stock and stamped with a flower from Friendly Flowers using pure poppy ink. A few yellowish rhinestones finished things off!
You might also notice, I used the "Smile" circle flower center from Enclosed: Flower, to stamp the background! Such a fun and easy background and yet another great look you can achieve with this little $5 stamp set!
Next up, is a card using the Enclosed: Basic Folded Tag Die on front of the Enclosed: Flower instead of on the back. I started out with a white card base and added some die cut leaves from bitty dot vellum. Then, I added a melon berry Enclosed: Flower die cut on which I stamped the petals from the Enclosed: Flower stamp set, using berry sorbet ink.
Next, I stamped the same petals on Basic Folded Tag, adding the smaller shading images in pure poppy ink, and then topping the tag with a pure poppy button.
I added a couple of the sentiment components from Enclosed: Flower to the inside of the little card-on-a-card! :)
Next up, is a card featuring the Tucked In: Mother stamp set -- I used one of the sentiments on a card front again. This time, I stamped it in pure poppy ink on a fresh snow linen card base.
Next, I die cut 5 of the flower clusters from Quilted: Spring and stamped them in a variety of inks, and then adhered them around the sentiment before trimming off the edges.
One more project before I go....this one shows that the new Enclosed: Basic Folded Tag die works great even without the Enclosed: Flower stamps and dies! You can make darling little circle tags and embellish them any way you'd like!
In this case, I stamped each one with Polka Dot Basics II and versamark ink and then topped them with die cut butterflies. The top layers were die cut from fresh snow linen card stock and stamped with Beautiful Butterflies and the new Beautiful Butterflies Layers. I also used the new Beautiful Butterflies Layers dies to add the butterfly bodies. And behind each colored layer, is another butterfly die cut from patterned vellum.
I left the inside of the tags blank, so I can use them for any occasion that may come up!
That's it for me today, but Nichole Heady is making more fun announcements, so you'll want to pop over and check it out!
I'll be back tomorrow with the last of my release projects! See you then!
