Hello there! Welcome back for Day 4 of the Papertrey Anniversary festivities! Today, I get the pleasure of helping to introduce you to quite a few new products starting with a new stamp set and dies designed by Betsy Veldman, called Bitty Bouquets. This set of little floral bouquets are just the cutest and they make for great little additions to just about any card. I think I've used them on four of my cards for today! Haha. They're easy to use. ;)
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on February 15 at 10pm EST.
There are four main little bouquets and I die cut and stamped each of them here, and put them all in a little cluster for my focal point. I also stamped one of the sentiments from Bitty Bouquets, in the upper right corner.
I'm also happy to let you in on a little secret about that bitty dot vellum peeking out.....there's a whole pack of printed vellum coming out -- 6 different patterns, all printed in white on vellum so they go with just about anything! GAH -- that bitty dot. Can't. stop. using. it. Send. help. Hahaha!
I also get to let you in on another little secret.....I've got another $5 stamp set series coming out this year, called Tucked In! The Tucked In series features longer, more word-y sentiments perfect for use on the INSIDE of your cards!! So often, we hear that you struggle with what to say (or to stamp) on the inside of your cards, so hopefully this new series will fit the bill perfectly for you! Each month, the Tucked In stamp set will feature a different theme, allowing you to collect them all and have all your bases covered for a wide variety of card-giving occasions! This first set, Tucked In: Mother, features two sentiments (only two because like I said, they're longer, wordier and therefore larger sentiments, so only two will fit in a set!).
Of course, while these were designed with the intent to fill a gap in your stamping arsenal for stamping inside your cards, they also work beautifully on the outside of cards, as I plan to show you this week! This is yet another super versatile series, giving you lots of bang for your crafting buck!
Let me present you with exhibit A. Haha!
For this card, I paired up quite a few of the new items, along with Tucked In: Mother!
To start off, let me point out some new dies -- these are the Keep It Simple Frames dies by Nichole Heady!! They were designed perfectly, to hold any and all of the sentiments from the Keep It Simple series, but as you can see here, they also work beautifully with lots of other sentiments too! I used a Boutique Borders: Mother sentiment here, stamped in smokey shadow ink. All 3 of the tag layers you see here (dotted vellum, pure poppy & white) were die cut with various Keep It Simple Frames dies.
On top of the frames, I added another little bouquet that was created with the Bitty Bouquets stamps and dies. I also tied on a bit of baker's twine and added a little clothes pin from my stash.
And here you can see what I meant about being able to use the Tucked In: Mother stamps on the front of a card! I stamped the second of the two sentiments from Tucked In: Mother, using pure poppy ink, and then added some more flower clusters from Bitty Bouquets with versamark ink.
Here's another for you, featuring lots of new goodies.
Firstly, I used another of the Keep It Simple Frames dies here -- this one actually cuts out both pieces -- the white layer and the summer sunrise layer -- how fun is that?! Again, I stamped one of the sentiments from Boutique Borders: Mother. MANY of the sentiments from the various Boutique Borders sets fit in these frames beautifully!
I also added another Bitty Bouquets die cut and the whole thing is layered on a piece of striped vellum.
Inside the card, I heat embossed a sentiment from Tucked In: Mother, with clear embossing powder. Such a classy finish!
Next up is another fun new product.....the next in the Text Block series from Lizzie Jones! This is the Text Block: Mom die and I layered it on a piece of bitty dot vellum (told you I couldn't stop!) and layered that on some aqua mist card stock. Some black baker's twine was tied around the top for a bit of softness.
And yep, I added another of the Bitty Bouquets clusters at the bottom. I also told you these little bouquets can be added anywhere! The stamps on these clusters are in pieces...for this one, there are 3 stamps, so I could stamp the flowers in berry sorbet and pure poppy inks, while the stems are in new leaf. The flowers are already positioned for you, so all you have to do is line up the little groupings with the stems and stamp!
And again on the inside of the card, I stamped a Tucked In: Mother sentiment with smokey shadow ink and then added another Bitty Bouquets cluster in new leaf and hawaiian shores ink.
Ok, one more project for today......more bitty dot vellum! (Sorry. Not Sorry. Haha!)
I whipped up a really quick set of gift tags with the new Enclosed: Flower dies. Each tag has 4 layers -- the "smile frame" layer, a solid vellum layer, a solid card stock layer and the Enclosed: Basic Folded Tag on the back.
I added a matching button to the front of each tag to dress them up a little. You could whip these up in every color and have a whole collection at your disposal whenever you need them!
And here's one of the little gems in use.....added to a plain and simple gift bag, paired with a bit of ribbon and colored tissue paper and voila! A super cute, custom gift bag!
All right, friends, if you've stuck with me to the end of this long post, then you deserve a treat! Haha!
Be sure to head over to visit Nichole Heady to see all the details on these new products and to read about today's anniversary contest! Lots more prizes up for grabs! I hope you win!!
See you back here again tomorrow!
