Hi there!
Welcome back for another fun Papertrey Group Post! Betsy Veldman has done it again with another adorable addition to the Petite Places line up....this time, a super cute 'sweet shoppe' complete with 3D awnings and more!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on March 15 at 10pm EST.
I created a little jar topper with the sweet shoppe stamps and dies, perfect for topping a jar full of Easter treats! I stamped all of the elements on the sweet shoppe with hibiscus burst and pure poppy inks. The little bike was stamped with tropical teal ink. I used two of the Scene It: Basic Backer dies, both from new leaf card stock, and I used the Petite Places: Pop Up Trees dies on the top layer to add the trees.
I mean seriously, those awnings.......! (insert heart eyes!)
I die cut some white card stock with one of the Tiny Tags dies, and stamped it with a sentiment from Petite Places: Sweet Shoppe.
Now, how about a card using the Sweet Shoppe Sentiments stamp set! I stamped the bottom portion of the hibiscus burst card front with various sign stamps from the set, all with hibiscus burst and pure poppy inks.
I stamped the sign holder in tropical teal ink on aqua mist card stock, as well as the sign with hawaiian shores ink, and then I trimmed it out by hand. A strip of white card stock as well as some pure poppy bitty dot paper and some black baker's twine finished things off!
Before I go, of course I have an Enclosed: Graduate card for you! Don't forget that this stamp set and dies can also be used for the pint-sized graduates in your life! Know a little one graduating from preschool or kindergarten? You can make them their own little graduation cards (which mom might even want to add to their baby/school days book!
I die cut the Enclosed: Graduate cap from two layers of hibiscus burst card stock and the tassel from berry sorbet card stock, stamped with raspberry fizz ink. I added some die cut flowers and leaves (Friendly Flowers stamp set), topped with some sequins.
Then, I pulled out the First Place stamp set, to create the little award/ribbon, stamping the "so proud of you" and "way to go kiddo!" from First Place, as well as the "Graduate" from Enclosed: Graduate.
The focal elements are layered on white card stock topped with bitty dot vellum. The bottom edge of the white card stock was trimmed with pinking sheers to coordinate with the pinked edge on the circle.
One more for you.....for this one, I paired sentiments from both Enclosed: Graduate and Tucked In: Congratulations as well as images from Garden Grace.
I started by stamping the sentiment from Tucked In: Congratulations with plum pudding ink. Then, I stamped the "Congrats" from Enclosed: Graduate repeatedly over the whole background, using soft stone ink. I LOVE how that turned out!
The flowers were die cut with the Garden Grace dies and then stamped with coordinating images using plum pudding and orchid opulence (Stampin' Up!) inks as well as simply chartreuse and ripe avocado.
I added a single strip of the bitty dot vellum along the bottom of the card and I love how it looks a bit gray, almost like the soft stone ink!
Ok, that's it for me today, but there's lots more Sweet Shoppe inspiration for you so be sure and visit each of the other design team girls!
