Hey there! Welcome back for day 2 of the Papertrey countdown! Today, I've got several more projects to share with you using my newest Raspberry Suite products! It's been so fun to hear your wonderful feedback about Lunchbox Love, Enclosed: Apple and Tucked In: Thank You! I'm so glad you're excited about these new goodies and can't wait to show you some more things I've made with them! Let's get right to it, shall we?
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on April 15 at 10pm EST.
First up is a SIMPLE card I made, thanks to Lunchbox Love and one of the patterned papers from Maile's new Black & White All Over paper collection!
I simply colored the balloons with Copic markers (see which colors in the links list at the bottom of this post), trimmed a bit off around the edges and adhered it to a summer sunrise card base. To finish things off, I added a strip of white card stock with a stamped sentiment from Lunchbox Love and notched the end with paper snips. Easy peasy and how much would a kiddo love to find this card in their lunchbox, on their pillow or even tucked in their backpack at school? :)
Here's a girly little number that I think would be perfect for a young teen or even a tween! I stamped this sentiment from Lunchbox Love on one of the Keep It Simple Frame die cuts and tucked it behind some die cut flowers.
The flowers were created with the Bold Bouquet stamps and die. I love, love this card. Heck, this card would likely make some GROWN-UPS happy too! :) Peeking out over on the right, is a bit of summer sunrise bitty dot paper.
How about another little gift idea? This is, again, PERFECT for a teacher, but you could also take this along as a hostess gift, leave it on someone's desk at work or give it to a neighbor who took care of your yard or mail or pet while you were away! Succulents are SO popular right now and because of how darn inexpensive they are, this makes for a super affordable (and again, EASY!) gift! Just grab a succulent, pop it in a cute pot (you don't even have to re-pot it, if that's not your thing) and add one of these cute apple picks as your card/tag! So simple! Plus, succulents are (supposedly! Heehee!) one of the easiest plants to keep alive, so even if YOU aren't a green thumb, your gift recipient just might be!
I used the Enclosed: Apple dies to cut out the solid apple from raspberry fizz card stock, as well as the Thanks/frame layer from pure poppy. I die cut two of the Thanks/frames for some extra thickness. On the apple, I stamped the 'apple shine' image with pure poppy ink, as well as the "For all you do"....both from Enclosed: Apple. I die cut an extra Enclosed: Apple leaf and stamped it and the main leaf with pure poppy ink topped with a scarlet jewel stem. And topping the leaves are a couple of flowers that were created with Ruby Rose stamps and dies!
I simply taped the apple to a cute straw with a bit of washi tape and stuck it in the dirt! So easy but so cute! :)
Next up is a card featuring Enclosed: Apple as well as Tucked In: Thank You.
Instead of die cutting the "Thanks" apple, I embossed it into some stamper's select white card stock. Just under the "Thanks", I stamped "Teacher" from Embossed: Apple and under the apple, I stamped a sentiment from Tucked In: Thank You. Below that is a strip of smokey shadow card stock as well as some pure poppy bitty dot paper.
All righty, one more for you today.....here, I paired Tucked In: Thank You with Brushed Blooms! Again, these sentiments were designed to be used on the inside of cards, but they also work beautifully on card fronts!
A thin strip of new leaf card stock was added on the left for an accent, and the whole white panel was added to a kraft card base.
That's all I've got for you today, but you'll want to be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Maile Belles, Melissa Phillips and Betsy Veldman for lots more sneak peeks. Erin Lincoln and Lexi Daly will have peeks at their new sets as well.
See you back here again tomorrow, friends!
