Hi there!
We've got one more fun Papertrey Group Post for you today, and this time, it's all about BALLOONS! Nichole has designed a new Shaker Shapes: Balloon die set that you'll love -- whether you make shakers with it or not!! -- and Lizzie has designed several new dies that can be used with her previously released Balloon Bash stamp set as well as any other balloon sets you have on hand!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on June 15 at 10pm EST.
For this first card, I used the Shaker Shapes: Balloon die to cut out the raspberry fizz balloon -- I love that even without making it a shaker, it's a totally adorable giant balloon! And I used a couple other dies from the set to add the sentiment and shading. The stamped stars are from Balloon Bash.
The background was created with two layers of white card stock (plus the white card base layer). The top one was die cut with the new Cover Plate: Balloon Bash die and the layer behind it was watercolored with a variety of colors to get a gradient look.
The two smaller balloons and sentiment are from Balloon Bash as well, and I heat embossed the balloons with clear embossing powder for a bit of shine.
Inside the card, I stamped the larger of the two sentiments from Tucked In: Birthday, and inked it up with two different inks -- raspberry fizz toward the top and berry sorbet at the bottom. I love how well they just blend together.
Next up, is a cheery one. I had a piece of card stock that I heat embossed a sentiment on, from Scripted, with clear embossing powder. Then, I watercolored various colors in a gradient pattern over the top and when it was dry, I die cut it with the monthly moments: journaling card 2 die and then stamped it with a coordinating stamp from Scripted with smokey shadow ink.
The flowers were created with Bloomers stamps and dies and I added some Ruby Rose leaves for an accent.
For this card, I stamped one of the Bloomers detail images all over the background to create a soft background pattern. Then, I die cut the Center Style: Feminine die and stamped a Scripted sentiment as well as some various leaves from the Make It Market Mini: Garden Gild.
The flowers were created with the Bloomers stamps and dies and I added some little dot accents to the centers of each, with a silver pen.
Along the bottom is a sentiment strip with one of the coordinating sentiments from Scripted.
And one more for you before I go.....I paired Enclosed: Cupcake here with Lexi Daly's Caution: Another Year Older.
I took one of the pieces of "smooshed" watercolor card stock that I made a couple weeks ago, and die cut it with the Enclosed: Cupcake die and topped it with a sentiment from the same set, as well as the cupcake liner. A little candle was added at the top!
The border strip from Caution: Another Year Older was stamped with Palette Noir ink and then watercolored with limeade ice and hawaiian shores inks. The "Celebrate" from Enclosed: Cupcake was stamped at the bottom to finish things off.
Ok, I'm off for now, but the other girls have lots more to show you!
