Hey there! Welcome back for Day 2 of the Papertrey Countdown! I've got lots of projects to share with you today, so let's jump right in!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on July 15 at 10pm EST.
For this first card, I paired my new Vintage Linens stamps with the Perfect Pairing stamp set.
I used the Vintage Linens dies to cut out the flowers and leaves and then stamped them before popping them on the card front with foam adhesive. The sentiment is from Perfect Pairing and along the bottom of the card is a strip of the new Vintage Linens patterned paper!
For this card, I used another of the Vintage Linens patterned papers. It may look like a lot of work went into this card, but it's just a patterned paper with a stamped sentiment (from Tucked In: Thinking of You) and a couple added die cut accents!
The sentiment was stamped in new leaf ink and all of those flowers at the bottom are part of the patterned paper.
I die cut a flower and leaf cluster for the top of the card and attached them with foam adhesive, before trimming them off at the sides. I added the pink highlights to the white space on the stamped flower, with a Copic marker.
Next up, is a set of bookmarks! I started leading a small Bible study at our church for a couple months this summer, and I thought it'd be fun to make each of the ladies in the group a bookmark for their Bibles!
I started out by die-cutting all of the bookmarks with the Basic Bookmark #1, 2 & 3 dies and then stamped a Bible verse on each, from the A Cheerful Heart stamp set.
After that, I just pulled out all my inks and stamped flower groupings on each.
After I had all the flowers in place, I went back in and stamped the flower centers and all the leaves.
One more photo, just because it's fun to see them all together! :)
This card uses another of the Vintage Linens patterned papers.
It's a simple red & white design, and I simply added two sentiment stamps -- one from Vintage Linens and one from Perfect Pairing, as well as a bit of black baker's twine.
One more for today.....this one features Enclosed: Sun!
I die cut the solid sun from white card stock and stamped the point detail image 5 times around the sun, with berry sorbet ink. Then, I stamped the little dot trio all the way around, on each of the points.
The center circle was die cut with the Enclosed: Sun circle die and was stamped with one of the companion sentiments.
Along the bottom of the card, I added a strip of berry sorbet card stock that was die cut with the eyelet lace border die and stamped the "Shine" from Enclosed: Sun.
On the inside of the card, I added one of the sentiments from Tucked In: Thinking of You.
That's all I've got for you today. You'll want to be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Betsy Veldman, and Maile Belles though, for lots more sneak peeks. Heather Nichols, Erin Lincoln, and Lizzie Jones will have peeks at their new sets as well.
I'll see you tomorrow, with lots more to share! :)
