Hey there!
Well, this next challenge is certainly a fun one! It's time for the Unconventional Materials Challenge! We were challenged to head to the hardware store and, with just a $10 budget, find items to use on a card! Can you tell what items I used???? :)
First of all, to play along yourself, remember that all of the details for how to play along with each of the challenges today can be found at Nichole Heady's blog. You won't want to miss out on the chance to win FREE Papertrey gift card prizes!!
Here's a closer look. Any guesses?
Below, gives you a peek at the actual items I bought and used here on my card! I used self-adhesive felt pads -- like little coasters -- and spray painted them with a can of spray paint. Then, I used the Cover Plate: Circles Die, to cut a layer of new leaf card stock to layer over the top. I simply trimmed off around the edges to make it smaller. The backs of these little felt pads were literally just peel and stick, so I used a bit of adhesive to glue the card stock to the pads (the easiest way to do this was to turn the whole thing over and lay the circles upside down on the card stock) and then flipped the whole thing over and popped it on the card.
A Scripted die cut "Hello there" was added to the top, to finish things off!
Were you able to guess the products I'd used? Be sure to visit the rest of the girls to see who's playing along with this one! And I can't wait to see what you come up with too!!
