Hi there!
Welcome back for another fun Papertrey Group Post! Oh gosh, you're all gonna go ga-ga over today's introductions! Heehee! Betsy has done it again! She's designed a new Holiday Pin-Ups kit which allows you to decorate clothespins and create the cutest treat packaging. And she's also bringing you the next in her Petite Places series -- Holiday Lane! I had a lot of fun with these projects! Let me tell you about them...
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on October 15 at 10pm EST.
First up, I just love how easy she makes it, to create quick and CUTE gift packaging! There was nothin' to putting these together and yet, look how detailed they look! These little bags are ready for me to load them up with treats and send them on their merry way!
The kit includes quite a few of these printed bags and lots and lots of pre-printed little pieces for die cutting and assembling all of your little clothespin people. The tags are also part of the pre-printed pad and the nice thing is, if you do happen to run out of pre-printed pieces (which would take you quite awhile to do!), you can always use the stamp set to stamp more! The twine on the tags is also from the kit.
To each bag, I also used the previously released Fancy Flakes snowflake dies to cut out a large, white snowflake and I also added some holly leaves from my new Spruce & Sprigs stamp set. I topped them with a large red button and voila! That's all there is to it!
Next up, let's chat about Petite Places: Holiday Lane! This may be my favorite Petite Places project I've ever made! I used Betsy's new Tag Sale: Quilted Die to cut out the white scalloped tag. Next, I die cut two strips using the In the Meadow dies to create the snow drifts and then ran them thru my Vagabond again, with the Tag Sale: Quilted Die, to get the scallops on the snow drifts. Then, I just stacked them up with foam adhesive!
I stamped various little die cuts from Petite Places: Holiday Lane and tucked them here and there, among the snow drifts, with either regular or foam adhesive, as needed.
Here's a bit of a side view. The sentiment is also one from the set.
Next up, how about we shift gears? I couldn't resist busting out my previously released O Holy Night set and pairing it with Spruce & Sprigs to create some Christmas bookmarks!! How fun is that? You could give these as gifts, tuck them in greetings cards and pop them in the mail or even use them as jumbo gift tags!
But I'm using mine as bookmarks! :)
I'm telling you, these sprig-y images from Spruce & Sprigs are just too much fun to use! On like everything. Haha!
Don't they look so pretty in my Bible? I haven't moved them there permanently just yet, but they'll be such a festive touch when I do!
OH, and if you're into Bible journaling??? You could totally use these stamps for just such a thing!!
Next up, let's talk Jadeite, shall we? Did you know I have had a love of Vintage Jadeite dishware for ages? Ages. I have a nicely growing collection and it makes me so happy to look at it and sometimes even use the dishes. I even have one of the mugs that I watched my Grandma and Grandpa drink coffee out of every year of my childhood, so me and Jadeite? We go way back. Like 40 years back. LOL!
Needless to say, it was such a joy to create a stamp set inspired by these timeless dishes. And even more fun, when we found out we were getting the new Vintage Jadeite color!! My wheels began turning immediately, as to how to pair the stamp set with the new color, to create these charming little mugs. I have my jadeite collection on display in the hutch in our dining room and nestled in with the dishes is one of my vintage scales. So I knew right away, that I had to pull out Lizzie's Second Helping of Sunshine stamp set, to use that darling vintage scale to create my little scene.
The scale was stamped in dark chocolate and pure poppy ink. The coffee pot was stamped in (stamped off) dark chocolate to lighten the color. The sentiment is also from Cup of Cheer and to get the color on the mugs just right, I stamped each of them with versamark ink, on the new Vintage Jadeite card stock.
Inside the card, I added a Tucked In: Holiday sentiment and another Cup of Cheer mug.
Next up, I have a Joyful Christmas card for you! I stamped the bottle brush trees in new leaf ink with kraft ink bases. The background pattern was created with the stars from Joyful Christmas. The solid stars were stamped with hawaiian shores ink and were each topped with the shading images in new leaf ink.
The sentiment is another from Joyful Christmas and it was stamped with tropical teal ink.
One more before I go.....this card pairs bits from several sets, starting with Enclosed: Wreath.
I topped the wreath with some of the flowers and little leaves from Cup of Cheer as well as a couple of little pine branches from Spruce & Sprigs.
The sentiments are all from Enclosed: Wreath.
Ok, friends, that's it for me today, but there's lots more for you to see! You'll want to visit each of my sweet teammates to check out their holiday projects!
