Hi there!
I'm back for the last group post for this month's Papertrey countdown! Today, we're showcasing quite a few different products designed to help you create a wide variety of birthday themed cards and other projects!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on November 15 at 10pm EST.
For this first card, I used the new Scene It: Celebration dies, designed by Betsy Veldman! There are three dies in the collection, and I cut out the back two layers, from watercolor card stock and the top (banner) layer from white card stock. I watercolored the balloon and star layers with my Zig markers and a water brush, and then used the Scene It: Celebration stamps, to stamp the hawaiian shores banner, as well as the sentiment in smokey shadow ink.
For this card, I used one of Lizzie Jones' new Confetti Toss patterned papers paired with the new Birthday Cheer stamp set & dies designed by Nichole Heady.
I die cut the "birthday" from winter wisteria card stock and stamped the two companion sentiments above and below.
For this card, I paired the Confetti Toss stamp set with the balloons from Scene It: Celebration and a sentiment from the new Keep It Simple: Birthday II.
I added a bit of glossy accents to the highlighted spots on the balloons and used the Filigree Border die to add the strip of smokey shadow bitty dot paper.
Next up, I used the Enclosed: Present stamps and dies, to create the gift here. I die cut the present from raspberry fizz card stock, as well as some damask patterned paper and then trimmed the "lid" off the pink layer and adhered it to the damask layer.
The "Celebrate" was die cut with the new Birthday Cheer stamp set and I stamped another of the companion sentiments from that set, just below it.
I've used the snowflakes from Fab Flakes here, to create a sympathy card.....I used a small snowflake from the set, to create the background pattern and then heat embossed several die cut snowflakes, with silver embossing powder.
For the sentiment, I trimmed off a strip of luxe silver patterned paper -- it's white and silver striped paper, so I just trimmed off a chunk that had both stripes and stamped the "with sympathy" from Keep It Simple: Sympathy on the white portion.
Inside the card, I stamped one of the sentiments from Tucked In: Sympathy and added a few additional snowflakes.
That's all I've got for you today, but the rest of the team has lots to share!
