Hellooooo! It's time for the Papertrey December Countdown! Today, I get to introduce you to my new Enclosed: Heart stamp set (among other things), but unfortunately, my dies haven't arrived yet! Sooooo, I got to have some fun with just the stamp set and I get to show you some things you can do with it, even if you don't have the dies! And don't worry, as soon as I get the dies, I'll be sure to show you them in action too! Bonus!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on December 15 at 10pm EST.
So, the beauty of this little stamp set is it's just $5 and yet, there are so many things you can do with it! It includes a darling little two-step floral cluster that I'm in love with, as well as a really pretty, polka-dot "Love" and some companion sentiments. Oh, and some tiny hearts too. For a $5 set, there's lots to work with!
For this first card, I stamped the large "Love" in a series of ombre colors starting at the top with the new Lovely Lady color!!! Below that, is hibiscus burst, raspberry fizz, pure poppy and then scarlet jewel.
Everything on this card front, comes in the Enclosed: Heart stamp set! I stamped the tiny flowers in pure poppy and the leaves in ripe avocado.
Inside the card, I added one of the new sentiments from Tucked In: Anniversary, as well as some more little flower clusters!
For this next card, I used that little floral cluster to create a background pattern. I sponged pink and red inks on the flowers, to get a two-tone look and then stamped the leaves.
Here's a tip when stamping this cluster. If you stamp the flowers first with the two tiny flowers on the left, you can easily stamp the leaves after that. Just remember that the leaves point up, if the flowers are in that position.
You could create that same background pattern in a jillion different color combos!
I used one of the Half & Half dies, to cut some raspberry fizz card stock and stamped three sentiment stamps from Enclosed: Heart and added a strip of luxe gold adhesive card stock over on the left.
Inside this card, I used one of the new sentiments from Tucked In: Wedding! After I stamped the wedding sentiment, I inked up the "Love" with pure poppy ink and stamped it off once on scratch paper, before stamping over the other sentiment. One more little flower cluster was added just below the sentiment to finish things off!
Up next is a masculine Valentine card.....I stamped the sentiment pieces and hearts from Enclosed: Heart on a Center Style: Masculine die cut.
I also added another sentiment from the set, on a strip of kraft card stock. The new leaf card base was impressed with the Woodgrain impression plate.
Here's one more with Enclosed: Heart....I created a little spray of flowers at the top and then added the "I Love You" underneath.
The "Just Because" is from Perfect Pairing and I think it is a pretty perfect pairing with the Enclosed: Heart sentiment!!
I used a red pen and ruler to draw a simple frame on the card base.
One more for you today.....here's a fun little masculine Valentine for you, featuring my new Be Mine, Valentine stamp set!
The camera was stamped in 4 pieces, but if you want to skip the tiny heart on the right, you can leave that blank and stamp it in three. This allows you to stamp your camera in any color combo you can dream up! And the straight lines make it super easy to line up! Just stamp the top, add the bottom and then stamp the circle/heart stamp in the opening in the middle.
The sentiments in this set are also made to give you lots of mix and match options, so this is two separate stamps here. Don't want to make this a card for Valentine's Day? Turn it into a card for your bestie, for instance, just by leaving off the "Valentine" part and changing up the colors. There is also a "Teacher" sentiment, so you can adapt lots of the sentiments to be appropriate for all the teachers in your life!
Along the bottom of the card, I added a simple strip of smokey shadow card stock as well as a bit of striped paper die cut with one of the Fabulous Frames dies.
All righty friends, I'm off for now but for today, you'll want to be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Melissa Phillips & Danielle Flanders for lots more sneak peeks. Betsy Veldman, Heather Nichols, Erin Lincoln & Maile Belles will have peeks at their new sets as well.
I'll be back tomorrow with more sneak peeks! Hope you'll stop back by!
