Hello!
Welcome back for one more Papertrey Group Post! Today, we're here to show you my new Be Mine, Valentine stamp set and dies, as well as Betsy's new Valentine Pin-Ups kit! And not only that, but we're gonna show you how you can use all of these goodies, not just for Valentine projects, but for every day projects throughout the year too!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on December 15 at 10pm EST.
To get started, let's talk about Be Mine, Valentine! I used the fun peach image (it's two separate stamps) to create a thank you card for year-round use. I inked all of the peaches and leaves with two colors each. You ink a portion of the stamp with the first ink and then add the second color wherever you want it. When you add the second color of ink on the stamp, there's usually an ink line that can be kind of ugly. To eliminate that, just tap-tap-tap with an ink blending tool and voila! A nice, smooth gradient blend of colors! (I linked the blending tools that I use below.)
The "You're a" and "Peach" are from Be Mine, Valentine and I added a simple "thank you" from the previously released Thank You Kindly stamp set.
The valentine card is virtually the same, except that I changed up the sentiment a bit, as well as the card base color. Easy peasy!
This time, all of the sentiment components are from Be Mine, Valentine.
Next up, is Betsy's adorable new Valentine Pin-Ups kit!
Nearly everything you see here, is from the kit! The only additions are some silver thread, that birthday sentiment (from Keep It Simple: Birthday II) and a couple of heart die cuts using the new Enclosed: Heart solid die.
This makes for a fun little birthday treat bag and it all started with a Valentine kit! Told you you could use it year-round! :)
And here is the Valentine version......everything here is from the Valentine Pin-Ups kit, with the exception of the Enclosed: Heart die cuts.
And one more card for you......I've been super inspired by Kay Miller's watercolored cards lately, so I made a card inspired by her today. :) I die cut the solid Enclosed: Heart die from a piece of white card stock. Behind that, I layered a piece of watercolor card stock, on which I smooshed some of the new Lovely Lady and pure poppy inks. When the watercolor was dry, I stamped one of the sentiments from the new Tucked In: Wedding set.
All of the little flowers are from Enclosed: Heart, and they were all stamped with Lovely Lady and pure poppy inks. Who says leaves can't be red?!
All right, I'm off for now, but be sure to check out all of the other love inspiration for you today!
