Hello there! It's time for the Papertrey January Countdown and this month, I've got several exciting products coming out but before we get to those, I get to help introduce you to a few other new products including the new Pennant Flag dies designed by Nichole Heady as well as the Background Basics: Splats stamp set designed by Lizzie Jones!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on January 15 at 10pm EST.
To kick things off, I have a card for a female coach.....but you could easily swap out the background paper with a more masculine print and voila! Card for a guy coach!
I used the new Pennant Flag dies (as well as a new stamp set and word die called, Thanks, Coach, also designed by Nichole) to create the cute pennant.....I die cut the main portion from orange zest bitty dot paper and the little white tassel portion from white card stock. The "Coach" was die cut from smokey shadow card stock and I stamped two sentiments from Thanks, Coach on a Center Style: Masculine die. The whole thing was layered on a piece of orange zest damask patterned paper and that was popped on a white card base.
Next, I thought I'd do something completely different with the pennant dies and create some floral flags for a birthday card! How fun are these?!
The pennants as well as the tassel pieces, were all cut from white card stock. Here's your first look at my new Bold Blossoms stamp set!! I used it to stamp flowers and leaves on the pennants. I added a sentiment from Bold Blossoms, as well.
I used the new Background Basics: Splats, to add a background pattern to the hawaiian shores card stock, with versa mark ink.
I also wanted to show you what cute little gift tags these pennants make! I die cut the pennant from pure poppy ink and added the tassel portion and one of the word dies that is included in the Pennant Flag die collection, in white card stock.
Behind the pennant, I adhered a soccer ball that was stamped with the new Go For the Goal stamp set (also designed by Lizzie). Leave off the soccer ball entirely or add any other sports image, to create cute gift tags for all sorts of sports occasions!
Before I go, I've got one more card for you......this one features Background Basics: Splats paired with my new Enclosed: Butterfly stamps and dies!
I die cut a strip of white card stock with the large scalloped border die and have it sticking out the side of the card front, peeking out from behind some pure poppy bitty dot paper. On top of that, I added a paper from the Vintage Linens collection and added a strip of gold tape (that came in one of Betsy's previous kits).
I die cut the main Enclosed: Butterfly die from hawaiian shores card stock and stamped it with Background Basics: Splats and new leaf ink. Next, I die cut the Enclosed: Butterfly "Blessed" layer from white card stock and laid it over the top, before stamping one of the little companion sentiments from Enclosed: Butterfly, in smokey shadow ink.
All right, friends....I'm off for now but you'll want to be sure to visit Nichole Heady and Heather Nichols for lots more sneak peeks. Betsy Veldman and Lizzie Jones will have peeks at their new products as well.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you again tomorrow!
