Hi there!
Happy first of the month! It's time for another Senior Team Challenge at Papertrey, and this month, we're pulling out our bunny bag die collections and creating some fun projects that will hopefully give you a bit of inspiration! I created a couple of little treat boxes for our niece and nephew, Benji and Emmy. Let me tell you about how I made them....!
The bunny bag I whipped up for Benji is pretty straight forward....I used the bunny bag dies to create the little box/bag and then added his ears, nose, paws and the egg using dies from the collection. I threaded some cotton twine thru the holes on the front, for his whiskers and used a little circle stamp from the Ruby Rose stamp set, to stamp his little eyes.
Nichole made a great video when this set first came out, showing how to create these little boxes....I highly recommend watching if you need a refresher. It makes them super easy to pop together, without even thinking!
Then for Miss Emmy, I decided to change the bunny up a bit, and make a little chick instead. :) I simply cut a square of summer sunrise card stock, scored it in half diagonally and folded it to create her little beak. I just covered the bunny whisker holes, and presto-chango -- chick!
I used the Framed Out #11 heart die, to add little "chicken wings" to either side of the box, instead of bunny paws and then used the same stamp for her eyes. The flowers and even the little tuft of feathers sticking out the top of her head, are from the Bunny Bag die collection.
It was fun whipping these up for little Easter treats! I'm guessing, with a little creativity, y'all could come up with a lot of other variations on these boxes too! Any ideas for other animals you'd create and what you might use to create them?
Be sure to see what my teammates have made using these fun dies, too!
