Welcome back for another fun Papertrey Group Post! Today, we're showcasing Erin's new Need For Speed stamp set as well as her new car and truck stitching dies!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on June 15 at 10pm EST.
First, let's talk about the card.....I used the new On the Road die to cut out the smokey shadow road and then popped out the spaces for the white lines. I simply layered a piece of white card stock behind the road, so the white lines show up.
On the road, I heat embossed the "FAST" with white embossing powder and stamped the rest of the sentiment, as well as a couple clouds from the new What the Doodle: Sun, on the card base.
I used one of the Need For Speed dies to cut out the car and then stamped it with coordinating images from the set.
Under the road, I stamped one more sentiment -- this one from The Skinny! It just adds a little extra something, and let's the birthday boy know that we're wishing him a great day!
I also created a softie truck.....I think my nephew, Benji, will love this little guy. I used the new Stitched Truck dies to cut out all the pieces and then stitched it up, using a dark gray thread for the whole truck.
There is polyfil stuffed inside the truck and the tires and this little guy stands up all on his own, thanks to those four stuffed tires. :) I used limeade ice felt for the headlight, vintage cream for the window, hawaiian shores for the body and true black and smokey shadow for the tires and trim.
