Hi there!
We're back again for one more Papertrey Group Post this month, and today, we're showcasing Erin Lincoln's new Halloween stitching dies!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on August 15 at 10pm EST.
Who doesn't love candy corns, right? So I couldn't resist stitching up a phone case, with this much loved Halloween treat! The dies include the stitching holes to add to the piece you're stitching them to -- in this case, the phone case -- as well as the three separate pieces so you can cut out the various colors. There is also a die that cuts out the whole candy corn, so you can stitch the pieces to a single candy corn cut out as well, however I didn't need to use that die here.
I cut the phone case from berry sorbet felt and cut the candy corn pieces from vintage cream, orange zest and harvest gold felt. For the embroidery floss, I just grabbed some from my stash and I stitched everything using all 6 strands of thread. I like the look of the thicker stitching lines.
Be sure to hop around and see what the other girls have stitched up!
