Hellooooo! Goodness, it's been ages since I shared a book post with you -- July, to be exact! I'm so sorry about that, but things have been a little crazy around here for the last several months, what with an unexpected month-long hospital stay followed by a trip to Georgetown in DC for transplant testing. This fall certainly didn't go quite as I planned! Ha! BUT, it's nearly Christmas and you might be looking for last minute gifts OR you might be wanting a little something new to read for yourself, so I thought I'd hurry up and share some good reads with you, that I've enjoyed over the last six months. I've been saving them up for you! ;)
The last time I did a book report post, the books were nearly all historical fiction. Well, apparently I've been on a modern-day kick, because nearly all of these titles are modern-day stories. There are a lot of mysteries here, so hopefully that will appeal to some of you! I get on a roll with one genre or another, and I guess I just go with it for awhile. Haha!
Anyway, these are all good, clean books.....as usual, no smut here, no cussing, none of that....so you don't have to worry about whether these are safe to give to someone else. :)
Traces of Guilt (An Evie Blackwell Cold Case) by Dee Henderson
Dee Henderson has been one of my favorite authors since some of her first books came out in 1999! This is just another in the long line of Dee's books that I have thoroughly enjoyed. This one kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.....I read it in four days! I couldn't put it down! :) AND, it had a total surprise ending. Don't you just love it when you can't figure the ending out and it totally catches you off guard? This one was not predictable at all! I highly recommend it!
Missing (The Nikki Boyd Files Book #2) by Lisa Harris
Mermaid Moon (A Sunset Cove Novel) by Colleen Coble
Next up is a series of three, if you like that kind of thing. I love series because the story just keeps going! And even better, if you don't have to wait for the next book in the series to be written! Haha!
