Hi there!
It's Release Day at Papertrey! Have you got a shopping list all ready to go? All of the new products you've been getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning tonight, January 15, at 10pm EST. Before that though, the team has a few more projects to share with you. I'm super excited to show you these cards....I had so much fun with my Zigs and water brush!
This card features Maile Belles' new set, Boho Rounds. I heat embossed it in white embossing powder on watercolor card stock and then colored it with my Zigs and a water brush. GAH! The color combo possibilities are virtually endless with this one! So. Much. Fun.
And apparently once I get on a roll with my Zigs, I just keep going! Haha. I used the same color combo on this card, as on the previous one. I love how this turned out!
This card features Maile's Splits: Hello There.
Next up is a combo.....I paired Nichole's Medallion Trio with Betsy Veldman's Inspired: God.
For the color on the medallions, I stamped the outline in new leaf ink and then the detail images in hawaiian shores and more new leaf that was stamped off first, before stamping it on the card.
I inked up the bottom portion of the "God" die cut with more new leaf ink. There are three die cuts stacked up here, for dimension. And of course, stamped in black, is the rest of the Bible verse.
One more for today.....this one features Betsy's Dress Up Dolls: Birthday! I decided to use the set a bit differently and piled on the balloons! Some are stamped on the watercolor card stock background and the rest are stamped on watercolor card stock die cuts. They were all colored with my Zig markers and a water brush.
