Hello, friends! It's time for the Papertrey January Countdown and this month, I've got a new stamp set and some dies that I'm looking forward to sharing with you! Stay tuned for that tomorrow, but for today, I get to help introduce you to Betsy Veldman's new What the Doodle: Paisley stamps and dies!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on January 15 at 10pm EST.
I had fun with this first card.....I heat embossed the various paisley images all over a piece of watercolor card stock with white embossing powder and then colored them with my Zig markers and a water brush. I stamped the sentiments from What the Doodle: Paisley on a Journal Tabs die cut and tucked it on the side of the card.
For this card, I wanted to use the paisley dies, so I started out with some white card stock and sponged on some inks -- berry sorbet, raspberry fizz and pure poppy on the large one and berry sorbet and raspberry fizz on the small one, and then I die cut them with What the Doodle: Paisley dies and stamped them with the coordinating images.
The sentiment is from Keep It Simple: Birthday III and I stamped it on some berry sorbet card stock that was layered on a scrap of raspberry fizz card stock that was die cut with one of the Noted: Scalloped dies. Behind that is a piece of polka dot vellum and everything was adhered to the saffron spice card front.
One more for you today.....I created a simple card set that packs a big punch! I die cut some white card bases and some rectangle panels from raspberry fizz, tropical teal and a new color you'll want to keep an eye out at Nichole's blog for more info about! I die cut them with the Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical dies and then stamped a paisley background pattern all over the rectangles, with fresh snow ink.
Then, I added some simple die cut sentiments, using the Big Basics: Wish Big die and the Wonderful Words: Thank You and Love dies. These cards came together quickly but have lots of little details that make them shine!
I'm off for now, but I'll be back tomorrow with more projects to share! For today, you'll want to be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Betsy Veldman, Melissa Phillips, & Ashley Cannon Newell for lots more sneak peeks. Maile Belles and Lizzie Jones will have peeks at their new sets as well.
