Hello there!
I hope you've been enjoying the Papertrey 10th Anniversary celebration so far! Today, we're taking a look back at 2013. So many great sets came out that year....it gets harder and harder to choose just one set to work with for these posts! But for today, I've pulled out my Ruby Rose stamp set (gosh, I still love that name so much....wouldn't it make an adorable name for a baby girl?!). Haha! Anyway, I started out with a piece of lilac grace card stock and, with the coordinating ink, stamped one of the little dot images from Ruby Rose all over the background.
I love taking tiny images from a set and creating background patterns with them. Easy peasy and you have a background that coordinates with the focal images that way!
The flowers were stamped with pure poppy, amethyst allure and lilac grace inks and I used new leaf on the leaves. The sentiment is one of the two included in the Ruby Rose set and just under that, I added a strip of pure poppy bitty dot patterned paper.
Here are a couple other projects I've made using Ruby Rose over the years.....
