Hey there!
It's the final day of post-release inspiration from Papertrey. Have you enjoyed these additional posts? I'd love to hear from you! Have you been able to order some new goodies to play with? I hope so! Some of you may already have those new goodies in hand! If so, have funnnnn digging in and getting inky!
I've got a couple more projects to share with you today, starting with this one featuring the Butterfly Hope stamp set. I paired it with a piece of patterned paper from the new Bloom & Grow kit.
I used lilac grace, amethyst allure and berry sorbet inks to stamp the butterflies and just mixed up the images and ink colors on each one. Such a fun way to make them each unique but coordinated. The little sentiment is also from Butterfly Hope and was stamped with some cocoa bean ink on the lilac grace card base.
And for this little number, I used the new Make It Market: Bloom & Grow mini kit. I die cut the main flower arrangement from white card stock and then used the stencils from the kit to blend on the inks. This is seriously so easy to do....it's almost faster than stamping and you get better ink coverage!
I also die cut the flower pot as well as the little scallops and bow. The bow was stamped with saffron spice ink and I blended a bit of new leaf ink on the bottom edge of the hawaiian shores flower pot. I kinda want that flower pot in real life. It'd look great on my deck! Haha! The patterned paper here, is another from the Bloom & Grow kit.
When you pull the flowers out of the pot, there's a little sentiment stamped at the bottom! Such a fun little surprise for the recipient! I used another of the stencils from the kit, to blend the ink before stamping the sentiment.
All right, I'm off for now, but I sincerely hope you've enjoyed these extra days of blog posts! Don't forget to pop over to Nichole Heady's blog for lots more inspiration from the team!
Have a wonderful day, Dearies!
