I just wanted to pop in and share a couple of post-release projects with you, starting with this one featuring the new Quoted: Move Mountains set by Nichole Heady as well as the new Woodgrain Metal Stencil by Betsy Veldman! Gosh, I love that background! I ran the hawaiian shores card base through my Vagabond with the Woodgrain Metal Stencil and then kept the paper in position under the stencil, while blending some new leaf ink over the stencil, so that it only inked up the raised woodgrain pattern on the card front. LOVE!
For the focal point, I used a Noted die to cut out the oval and then stamped the sentiment components from Quoted: Move Mountains. The focal images were die cut with Quoted: Move Mountains dies and then stamped with coordinating images and heat embossed with white embossing powder, before I watercolored them with my Zig markers and a water brush.
Happy sigh. Such a fun card to make!
And another for today.....this one features the Courage & Kindness stamp set by Heather Nichols and the Fun Frames dies by Nichole Heady. I used another Noted die for the scalloped card base and then cut out two sets of the Fun Frames -- one from white card stock and one from Saffron Spice. I left the white frame & center in tact and just layered the Saffron frame over the top of the white one so it pops up just a bit.
The sentiment and floral images are all from Courage & Kindness and were stamped with Saffron Spice, Hawaiian Shores and Tropical Teal inks.
