Hello there! Now that all of this month's new release products are available in the store at Papertrey, we've got lots more inspiration to share with you to keep you inspired until your new goodies arrive, or maybe to help you with your wish list, if you haven't been able to narrow it down yet! :)
For today, I've got a card for you featuring Betsy's new Beautiful Berries: Summer stamp set. Not only are these berries super easy to stamp and use, but they are indeed beautiful! I can see mixing them with other flowers and leaves, too, to create some really lush clusters!
For this card, I used them alone, stamping all three of the various clusters included in the set. The purples were stamped with amethyst allure and plum pudding inks and the pink berries were stamped with raspberry fizz and pure poppy inks. For the leaves, I used green parakeet topped with ripe avocado veins.
You might also notice that behind the berries, I used a couple of the new To the Point Edgers Dies -- I used the straight edge on the indigo card stock and the pinked edge on the amethyst allure card stock. This time, I die cut them so the angle would be off to the side, and turned the point toward the top of the card instead of the bottom. You can really use these edgers in so many different ways!
Lastly, I stamped a couple of sentiments from Beautiful Berries: Summer to create the "Today is Sweet" sentiment, as well as a birthday sentiment from Keep It Simple: Birthday III. I stamped them in versamark ink and embossed them with white embossing powder. A little strip of bitty dot paper is peeking out the bottom to finish things off.
That's it for me for now, but in case you missed it, I also have a DT Tips post today, so scroll up to see that one! Nichole Heady has lots more inspiration to share with you from the whole team, so don't miss that!
Take care, friends!
