Hey there! I'm back with another cheery little card to share with you now that all of these goodies are available at Papertrey Ink! For this one, I paired the new Cutaway Tags: Summer stamp set with my Garden Party set and I just love how well the flowers from both sets work with each other! Don't they almost look like they could have come from the same set? We definitely didn't plan that, but it's sure a fun little surprise!
So I wanted to do something a little different with Cutaway Tags this month, so I used several of the little bits and bobs to stamp my own background pattern. I just used four ink colors, so this came together fairly quickly. And just like I told you the other day, I definitely played around with colors and my little cluster layout on scratch paper, before I committed to actually stamping the pattern on my card front.
I left a space to stamp the sentiment, also from Cutaway Tags: Summer.
Lastly, I die cut and stamped a couple of flowers from Garden Party and added them to accent the sentiment, being careful to keep part of that cluster behind it, so that it peeked out and became part of the whole focal point.
Gosh, I love stamping with flowers. Haha! There's lots more inspiration for you at Nichole Heady's blog so head over there next!
I'll see you back here tomorrow!
