Hey, Friends!
It's Throwback Thursday at Papertrey Ink and I'm up this week with a fresh take on the Tipped Tops dies! One of the things I love about the Tipped Tops are the two word dies that are included in the set. Using them together and in multiples, really allows them to take center stage as the sentiment on your card! I’ve used them together here, with a few newer products, to create a fall-ish birthday card with a bit of a masculine twist! Let me tell you all about it....
To start things off, I die cut three of those "HAPPY" words from two solid card stocks and some Bitty Big: Orange Zest patterned paper. I also die cut the new Mix & Mat: Herringbone and then pulled out my Birthday Classics: October set, to stamp the word "Birthday", to finish off the sentiment.
Next, I used my Give Thanks stamp set and dies, to create some fun acorns and wheat stalks....a perfect masculine accent for a fall-ish birthday card! I stamped both the acorns and wheat with kraft ink, and then used ink blending tools, to blend some Cocoa Bean ink onto the tops of the acorns, and some Canyon Clay ink onto the tops of the wheat stalks. That slight color variation really adds a lot of visual interest to those accent images.
Do you have any of these products already in your stash? I hope I've inspired you to get them out and put them to use again! You can also check out Nichole Heady's blog to see even more Throwback Thursday inspiration today!
Have a great day, friends, and we'll chat again soon!
