Hey there! Now that all of the September releases are available at Papertrey Ink, we've got lots more inspiration for you, while you wait for your orders to arrive or perhaps, to help you make some last minute shopping decisions! Today, I've got a card for you that features the new Brilliant Baubles stamp set, paired with the Mix & Mat: Berry Boughs dies.
I'm sure it comes as no surprise that I love these vintage inspired images (just check out a few of my ornaments in the background - ha!). I wanted to keep the card pretty monochromatic, so I stamped them in pure poppy with scarlet jewel tops. I also used the same colors on the little floral accents, as well as a couple of holly leaves stamped in olive twist.
For the Mix & Mat panel, I really wanted the border to be less busy than the new Mix & Mat: Berry Boughs, so I swapped in the Mix & Mat: Scallops border die, but kept the stitching and snowflake centers from Berry Boughs. That's the great thing about the Mix & Mat collection....they're all interchangeable!
For the sentiment, I used two stamps also from the Brilliant Baubles stamp set....they were a perfect fit in the space around the snowflakes at the bottom of the die cut!
