Hey, Friends! It's Throwback Thursday at Papertrey Ink and this week, we're throwing it back to the Through the Trees stamp set! Do you have this one? I was excited to do a little watercoloring with it this time around and knew I wanted to use an almost sunset-like color palette.
I stamped the trees on some watercolor card stock and then colored on a bit of color with my Zig markers and then blended it all out with a water brush. I started at the bottom with the brown and then made my way up through the purple, pink, red, orange and finally yellow. Fun!
I layered a bit of Bitty Big: Canyon Clay paper behind the watercolor panel and used the Noted: Scalloped A2 die to cut out the kraft card base.
For the sentiment, I used one from Through the Trees, and stamped it on one of the banners from the Wine Bottle Tag #2 die set. I just trimmed off the left side of the banner to create a little flag and finished it off with a little gem from my stash.
