Happy Monday! I've got some more projects to share with you today, featuring new goodies from the Papertrey October release! All of these goodies are now for sale, so pop over to the store, if you see something you can't live without! :)
For this first card, I started out with a panel of aqua mist card stock. I die cut the bottom with one of the new To the Point Edgers II dies and stamped the top with one of the images from Holiday Greens Borders. That is SUCH an easy set to use and after I stamped it with new leaf ink, I sponged on a bit of olive twist ink along the top edge, for a bit of subtle shading.
I die cut and stamped a couple of berry clusters from Holiday Greens, stamping the berries in berry sorbet ink and then sponging on a bit of pure poppy at the base of the berries. I stamped the "Merry Christmas" from Heather Nichols' new Ways to Say: Christmas, just above the berries.
Lastly, the NOËL is from the Holiday Double Cuts die collection. I love those dies! And I love being able to play with color combos with them!
One more for today.....this one features Sing a Song of Christmas by Betsy Veldman. I die cut and stamped a couple of the musical instruments from the set, to accent my focal point.
I started out with a white card base and added a bit of Bitty Big: Pure Poppy paper to the bottom. Then, I die cut a panel of sweet blush with one of the new To the Point Edgers II dies, as well as a strip of berry sorbet with the same edger, to create a layered look. I stamped the sentiment as well as some of the music note and keyboard images on the sweet blush panel with versamark ink and pure poppy.
I also die cut a Basic Bookmark #3 from both white card stock and berry sorbet. I cut the tops off the bookmarks, turned them around and layered them on top of the rest of the bookmark. I tied on a bit of twine from the Holiday Tag Along kit. I blended some berry sorbet ink onto the white bookmark and then stamped it with the sentiment, so that it would line up with the sweet blush layer.
All righty, I'll be back soon with more to share, but for today, you can head to Nichole Heady's blog for lots more inspiration using these fun sets!
Did these make it into your order? What about the To the Point Edgers II dies? Or are you still sorting through your wish list and trying to make your decisions? Hopefully this little bit of inspiration will help you, if that's the case!
