Hello, my friends! Just popping in today, with another pair of projects for the Papertrey Countdown! Today, we're focusing on the Botanical Beauty 2 stamp set by Jennifer Campbell and the With All My Heart stamps and Love die by Kimberly Crawford. First up, I whipped up a pair of cards with Botanical Beauty 2! I started out by die cutting lots of elements from the set and then stamped up the whole pile of die cuts. Then, I pulled out my Center Style: Feminine die and cut out one from white card stock. I cut that white die cut in half, so that I had two pieces and decided to use each one on two different cards. I piled all of those gorgeous die cuts on each of the Center Style die cuts and laid them on various card bases, testing out the color palettes, until I decided on these two colors -- prairie grass and pale peony.
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on June 15 at 10pm EST.
Before I adhered anything to the card front, I went ahead and stamped my sentiments. On the green card, I used a sentiment from Give Thanks. I love that font so much! That capital T gets me every time. :)
After stamping the sentiment, I adhered all the pieces in place and then lastly, stamped a few of the little flower centers from Botanical Bounty 2, directly on the card base.
As for the sentiment on the pink card, I used a couple from Enclosed: Apple. Another fun font pairing that I don't pull out and use nearly enough! Here are all the supplies I used on these cards. Keep scrolling down for my next project....

Oooh, and speaking of fun......! Ok, so that background. All I can say for now, is that I've got a little something fun coming your way, so you're gonna want to stay tuned for all the details! My lips are sealed at the moment! But what I CAN say is that I stamped that background grid with versamark ink and heat set it with white embossing powder and then used my Zig Clean Color markers and a water brush to fill in all the little boxes. Gosh, what a funnnn and ridiculously easy background....and one that packs a major punch! LOVE!
I used the Mix & Mat: Scallops die to cut out the white scallops and tucked that right behind the watercolored piece.
Next, I used the new Love word die to cut out some white card stock and I layered that on a vellum bitty dot heart that I cut out with the You Have My Heart die. Then, I stamped one of the companion sentiments from With All My Heart on some white card stock, trimmed it out and popped it on top of the word die cut.
I mounted the whole thing on some kraft card stock and that's all she wrote! Can't wait to share more about what I've got up my sleeve, but until then, what do you think about these new product introductions? Fun, yes?!
All righty, I'm off for now. There's much to be done in the Raspberry Suite studio this week! Head to the Papertrey Blog for lots more inspiration today!
