Hey there! So, it's time for another Summer Perks promotion at Papertrey and this time, it involves the newest stamps and stencil collection from Kimberly Crawford. They're called Bold Basics and I used them to whip up this cheery little card!
I started out with a soft stone card base and then used one of the triangle stencils from the new Bold Basics collection. I layered it with my Stencil Basics: Dots stencil to create the look you see here. I just stacked the dotted stencil and the triangle stencil on the card base and taped everything in place with a bit of washi tape so it wouldn't scooch around when I was blending the ink on. Then, I just used an ink blending tool to rub on the smokey shadow ink. I love layering stencils together like this! So fun! Is this something you'd like to see a MIM video on in the future?
Next, I stamped the frame image and sentiments from the Bold Basics stamp set and cut the frame out with a pair of paper snips. Then, I topped it with a variety of die cut florals from Gran's Garden, Floral Sketches, Vintage Linens and Stitching Garden. Man, I love mixing florals!
The large flower in the center (from Vintage Linens) was stamped with versamark ink on watercolor card stock, and then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Then, I used my Zig markers and a water brush, to add some color. As for all the other images, the colors are linked below.
Here are all the details about the Summer Perks pricing!
