Oh my goodness! Well, friends, you are in for a treat with this month's Papertrey Countdown! As usual, there are all sorts of fabulous new products coming your way, as well as a surprise or two (wink!), but I have to say that I'm especially fond of the items we're introducing today! I'm not even really what I would consider to be a beach-y kind of gal, but goodness me, Betsy has come up with a collection of products all centering around the ocean and all it's wonders and I'm hear to tell you that if I'd had more time, I could have easily made a bajillion projects with these new goodies! Salt Air: Flora features lots of plant life from under the sea, while Salt Air: Fauna focuses on all sorts of sea creatures. And then, of course, she's also brought us Salt Air: Sentiments, so we can creates all sorts of ocean-themed cards and tags and such, with just the perfect sentiment on each. Happy sigh. I've not seen a cuter collection of ocean products -- like, EVER -- so I'm pretty pumped about these. :)
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on June 15 at 10pm EST.
For my card today, I busted out the previously released Window Works dies, to cut a window out of the front of my card. Next, I die cut and stamped all sorts of flora and fauna using whatever colors suited my fancy.....the sky's the limit. Who says there might not be a pink and orange and red turtle way down in the depths of the ocean?! LOL! Gosh, I seriously just played with color and layered a bunch of them up.
Inside the card, I stamped one of the Salt Air: Sentiments so that it would show through the window.
I think that two-toned seaweed kelp-y stuff over on the left is probably my favorite image from Salt Air: Flora.....I love that you can layer colors on so many of these images and that one, in hibiscus burst topped with orange zest, is a particular favorite!
Head over to the Papertrey Blog for lots more Salt Air inspiration! I think you're gonna love this one!
Much love!
