Hey, friends! Come on in and put your feet up.....it's day 4 of the Papertrey Countdown and I've got a fun little card to share with you!
So, today I get to help introduce you to Betsy's newest (and so fun!) stamp set, Simply Gourd-eous -- haha! I love that name! It's a set full of multi-layer pumpkins and gourds and they're beautiful! You can stamp them in very realistic color combos and thanks to her brilliant and beautiful designs, they can look reeeeally real! OR, you can have a little fun and stamp some turquoise and green pumpkins and gourds because why not? Who's gonna stop ya?! :) Or you can do what I did and stamp a combination of both, which makes your non-realistically colored ones look a little more plausible! Haha....Ok, maybe not. I don't know. And yes, I do know that non-realistically is probably not a word but since spellcheck didn't catch it, I technically COULD be right! I'm just too tired at the moment, to go look it up, so I'm gonna go with it! Anyhoobs, I'm typically the grammar police in the room and if it's not bothering me, don't let it bother you! LOL! Back to the card, yes?....
So, besides using the GOURD-EOUS new stamp set (you know that's not an actual word, either, right? So technically if you're gonna penalize me for using non-realistically......well, I'm just sayin'....).......Ok, focus, Dawn! Focus! So besides using Betsy's gourd-eous new stamps, I paired them with my new Say It Simply: Giving Thanks For You die!!! Yes....another new Say It Simply die! How fun is this one?! It die cuts one big, beautiful piece, which I adhered to the new Scalloped Stackers: Small die cut layer with some spray adhesive. Fast and easy! Seriously, add your big die cut sentiment and some die cut accents and voila! Finished -- and beautiful, if I may say so -- card! :)
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on August 15 at 10pm EST.

One other thing to note about this particular sentiment die is that you can pretty easily snip the words apart, so you can also have a die cut "thanks" and a die cut "for you", which technically gives you three sentiments for the price of one! If you want to be technical. Just sayin'... ;)
