Hi Friends!! Welcome, welcome! I've got a fun post for you today! I wanted to share a few items that are all things for your home.....several wall decor items in particular. We have several walls around here, that have either been bare for a long time while I was sick, or they've been in need of a refresh, but I just didn't have the energy or even the head-space to worry about it for the longest time. But now that I'm feeling so much better, I've been having so much fun dreaming and planning and even finally implementing some changes to our decor. I wanted to share a few of my recent finds with you here!
First up, how about a peek inside our front door!....
Acts 2:46 Rustic Wood Wall Decor This first piece makes me get teary every time I think about it. I saw this piece of framed art at Hobby Lobby and couldn't believe how perfect the verse was for us. It says, "They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts." Oh man, there's not a meal that takes place in our house now, that we don't eat it with glad and sincere hearts, after my not being able to eat any food at all for five months last year! So this piece of art hangs on the wall on the way into our kitchen, so it's one of the first things you see when you come into the house. Of course, this would work well in anyone's kitchen or dining room, but it definitely holds special meaning for us. OH, and of course, you can wait until it's sale for 50% or use your 40% off coupon! Also, here's a similar option if you like the verse but need it to be a different color or size.
Good to be Home Wall Decor This next one also holds pretty special meaning for me, after having had to live away from home for 4-1/2 months after the transplant. It says "It's so good to be home" and I literally think that every time I see it! It's soooooo good to be back home and for good! So, so grateful! I've been putting together a gallery wall in our family room, surrounding my beloved cubbies, and this is hanging on that wall. (I'll show you the whole wall once it's completed, but I need to find a few finishing touches to pull it all together.)
Gray Tin Mailbox Wall Decor Ok, so just in terms of how darn cute it is, this metal mailbox is by far my favorite! I LOOOOVE it just because it's sooooo pretty and authentically vintage-looking! It's another part of the gallery wall in progress and it makes me smile every time I see it! I also similar options for you at Hobby Lobby and also at Amazon. I'll share pictures of the completed gallery wall when I get all of the finishing touches added. But I love it already!
Proverbs 31:25 Wall Decor I've got this one sitting on the floor in the studio, waiting to be hung up! Haha....just haven't gotten around to hanging it yet. But gosh, it's pretty in real life! It's gonna go up over my desk!
This Pink Floral Wall Decor is currently hanging over our bed and it is gorgeous! Oh man, the colors!!! And it has some great brush-stroke texture that makes it look more like an original and not so much like the print that it is. It's lovely! I had my eye on this one for quite awhile, and then one day finally bit the bullet and Bartley hung it up for me and I love it so much! Why did I wait so long?! It's not even very expensive at all, if you grab it when it's on sale!
Distressed Instant Snow Advertisement Wood Decor I've had this little gem for probably a month or so now. I snapped it up the second I saw it because I figured it would sell quickly. It is CA-UTE and looks pretty realistically vintage! I love it and can't wait to hang it up for Christmas!
Ok, so I hope these finds for your home have been fun for you. They've sure been fun for me to add to our home! If you like this sort of thing, would you do me a favor and let me know in the comments section? If you like these type of posts, I'll keep doing them! I'll see you back here tomorrow with some book recommendations for you! You've been asking for months now, and I'm sorry to have kept you waiting so long!
