Hi again! Welcome back! I've got a bonus project for you today, featuring Papertrey Ink's new Fairy Tale Christmas kit that will be available for purchase tonight at 10pm EST! When I was creating with the kit, I made a fun little discovery! Turns out, the circle dies in the kit, as well as the little bubbles that allow you to create shaker elements, work really well with the Tag Sale #12 dies, to create some fun little shaker tags!
I started out by using a couple of dies from the kit - a small circle and a little scene, to cut out a watercolor card stock layer. I watercolored the little red barn and trees, and when that was dry, added some shimmer with a Wink of Stella pen, to the snow and to the trees.
I also die cut some pure poppy Tag Sale #12 tags and used two more circle dies from the kit, to cut out the berry sorbet layers. Then, I poured a variety of little snowy, shaker bits into each of the little clear bubbles and glued all of the layers together with liquid adhesive.....tag in the back, watercolor layer next, bubble on top of that, and the scalloped circle to finish things off.
I added a little bit of velvet ribbon from the kit, to tie them on to a gift with. The shaker element is so fun, and I have to say this is by far, the easiest shaker ANYTHING I've ever had the pleasure of making! Haha! They came together so fast. The thing that took the longest was just waiting for the watercolor to dry! Gotta love that!
