Hey Friends,
I'm back with the second in my Holiday Gift Guide series for you....and I'm working to bring you a couple more posts today, with lots of gift ideas for the guys and littles in your life as well! Keep checking back today....I'm hoping these will be helpful to you as you do some holiday shopping this week! (If you're an email subscriber here, these posts won't show up in your inbox until tomorrow, so be sure to come back today, if you're waiting for these posts to help you shop!)
So for this gift guide, I've rounded up some things that I love....things for the gals on your list. Many of these, I've had and used/loved for years. I always prefer to buy things that I know someone else has used and would recommend, so my hope is that these gift ideas will be beneficial to you!
1. Rifle Paper Co. Floral iPhone Case - I first saw this case at Stamp-a-Faire a few months back! A sweet gal pulled her phone out to take a picture of me and another dear and I saw her phone case and kinda freaked out a little, because it's SO pretty!! Haha! So I came home and looked for it on amazon (actually, I don't think I waited till I got home to look it up!) and found it but it was listed for like $30...more than I wanted to pay. I put it on my wishlist and waited, and eventually, it dropped to less than $16 so I snapped it up! It's beautiful in real life -- you know how I feel about pink and red! Can't wait till it's time to pull out my pink & red purse again....I'll have a lovely matching phone case! In the meantime, I'm loving using it even if it doesn't match my current purse!
2. Lancôme La Vie Est Belle L'Eau de Parfum Spray - I recently ran out of perfume and had to get another and thought I'd share it with you. I've worn this perfume for quite a few years now. It's so good. I love having a go-to scent, as well as another one or two to mix in whenever I want to change things up. But this one is the staple. I love it and so does Bart (wink, wink!)!
3. Genuine Leather Teardrop Earrings in Rose Gold - So, I shared several pairs of earrings with you awhile back, that I'd gotten on amazon. Back when I got them, I also got these in rose gold, but I recently wore them for the first time, when Bart and I went out to run a few errands. At least three different strangers commented on how much they liked these earrings that day! Bart and I kept laughing at how many compliments I was getting! So I guess I shouldn't have waited so long to wear them! And for eight bucks, you can't beat the price! They're also super lightweight. You barely even feel like you've got earrings in. Love that. They also have lots of other colors, if these aren't so much your style.
4. Naked Cherry Palette by Urban Decay - OK, so I don't have this palette yet, but I've been to the store and tried all of these colors on my hand and I'm loving this palette. It's on my wish list for sure, and I can't wait to get this one and play with it on my actual face! It's been ages since I bought a new eye shadow palette and there are several on my radar at the moment! It's so nice to even have the energy to think about such things, now that I'm feeling so much healthier!
5. Rose Shiny Pretty Things Eye Party Palette by MAC - This is another one that is not only on my own personal wish list, but is also on my shopping list for someone for Christmas! (Can't say who, in case she reads this! *wink!*) Anyway, isn't it preeeeetty? It does come in a smokey color combo, too, in case this one isn't quite what you're looking for.
I've been a long, long time fan of MAC eye shadows. They wear sooo well, and they have such great color options. You can't go wrong with MAC eye shadows. I've bought lots of them over the years.
6. MAC Eyeshadow x 15 Palette - Here are two larger palettes that have 15 colors each, all in neutral tones. These look nice, but I haven't seen them in person -- they're available online only. Here's the Warm Neutral one and here's the Cool Neutral one. (In case it's helpful for you, I would wear the cool one for my skin tone.)
7. Gelous Nail Base Coat - I use this every time I do my nails. In fact, the link I'm sharing with you here, is for two bottles because that's what I bought last week! Ha! It was cheaper to get two bottles at a time, and since this is a staple in every single mani for me, I grabbed two. I use one coat of this base coat, followed by two coats of color and topped with....
8. .....this Essie Gel Couture Top Coat. I love this stuff. It gives a super shiny finish and helps my manicures to last more than a week, most of the time.
9. Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish: Pre-Show Jitters - And this is my favorite color in the Gel Couture line. It's just a great goes-with-everything basic and looks so pretty on.
10. Hunter Original Tall Rain Boot - I've had these wellies for years now and love them. They're just basic rubber rain boots in the sense that they're not padded or lined or anything like that, but you can buy a liner or you can just wear big cozy socks like I do. I have them in red and they're soooo fun to wear just because they're cute, but of course they're also so nice to wear in the rain and snow! (And speaking of snow, they look so cute in snowy pictures!)
11. Cozy Crew-Neck Sweater - This is a sweater that I don't have yet but is waiting in my shopping cart for me to get a minute to buy it. I've seen it several times on some of my favorite instagrammers, so now that it's on sale, I've got my eye on a couple of them! I love this gray stripe and the navy stripe. The rust stripe is super cute, too!
12. UGG Ansley Slippers - I've now had two pairs of these cozy slippers. We had to buy a replacement pair after an unfortunate incident with an ostomy bag when I was recovering from my transplant in D.C. (Ew.) You might have seen the orchid color that I have in my pics on instagram. But I also love the slate color as well as the light gray! There are lots of color options though. These slippers are sooo cozy. Sometimes I wonder if I could get away with wearing them out in public. :)
13. Hello There sweatshirt - So this sweatshirt is not only soooooo soft and cozy (like more than any other sweatshirt I've got), it's also so dang cute! I love the way it hangs. I feel like it's really flattering and it's just so fun to wear, with that fun, fuzzy sentiment on it! They also have other colors and styles to choose from. I got a small, if that helps you for size reference.
And these two are not in my closet yet, but are in my shopping cart and soon to be in my closet! Ha!
14. Pink/Red Stripe Sweater - I mean, come on.....it's a pink and red sweater! You know how I feel about #pinkandredforever!!
15. Multi-Stripe Sweater - And how fun is this one?!
Side note: Apparently I have a thing for stripes at the moment!
Ok, friends.....there are 15 ideas for the gals on your shopping list, or of course there are all the books I shared with you last night. I've also got a 'for the home' gift guide coming for you, too, in case these aren't enough ideas for you! And like I said, I've got a 'for the guys' list and a 'for the littles' list coming, as well. Stay tuned!
Happy gifting!
