Hi, Friends! I'm back again with another Papertrey November Countdown post, and today is the day that the team is officially introducing my Mix-Ups Pocket Tag Dies, as well as the new Home to Roost stamp set and Shape Shifters: Circle 4 dies. In case you missed my first post for this countdown, scroll back and read up on all the info and tips I shared regarding the Mix-Ups Pocket Tag dies! There are lots of different ways you can use these dies, so I want to make sure you don't miss all the options I've shared!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on November 15 at 10pm EST.
For this first project, I wanted to create a birthday bookmark, that also doubles as a gift card holder when you flip it over! It's great to hold the gift -- perhaps a bookstore gift card!! -- and then still get used after the fact, as a bookmark!
I layered some tropical teal card stock on my tag, that was cut out with the new Shape Shifters: Circle 4 die and then topped it with some flowers from this year's freebie anniversary set, Mixed Bouquet! I never got to use it when it was first released back in February, so I had fun using it here. It's not too late to get this set for yourself, with your rewards points!
Here's what you see when you turn it over. I used one of the Mix-Ups tag dies and then one of the mix and match pocket trim dies, to cut the top of the tag off with that cute scooped shape. I glued the two together on the sides and bottom and die some sentiment stamping with the "happy birthday" from Just a Number, as well as a pair of sentiments ("Just a little something for you") from Enclosed: Apple! And as you can see, I used one of the new Skinny Mini dies to hold part of that sentiment!

Ok, so here's a card that shows how easy it is to use these new Mix-Ups pocket tag dies on a card! I didn't even make a pocket tag out of it.....just used the tag as a pretty mat on the card. I stamped it with Cover Up: Quatrefoil and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then, I took an ink blending tool and rubbed on some gold embellishing mousse and rubbed off the excess with a paper towel.
It's so shiny in real life! I used another Skinny Mini die here, with a sentiment from The Skinny, and added some florals that were floating around my desk from Farmer's Market Florals, Forest Floor: Winter and Floral Fantasy: Christmas.
A few red sequins finished this one off!

One more for you today.....for this one, I used the new Home to Roost stamp set by Lizzie Jones. I created another one of those shiny quatrefoil backgrounds, this time with white embossing powder on white card stock. I love the effect!
The little Thank You piece at the top was die cut with the little frame die from the new Forest Floor: Window, and the sentiments are from Home to Roost.
I also stamped the little birds, hay and birdhouse, from the same set. So sweet!
And of course, you can see that I used another Skinny Mini die here, to hold the rest of the sentiment! I love being able to do that now, thanks to these fun little dies!
