Good morning! I'm so glad you've come back for another day of Papertrey Countdown fun! I've got a pair of cards to share with you today, that I had fun making! Rebecca Luminarious has a new stamp and die set called From the Heart, and I used the dies here, to create this ombre heart card!
(All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on December 15 at 10pm EST.)
I started out with a pale peony card base, and adhered card stock panels one on top of the other with foam adhesive, each one with a graduated heart shape cut out of it. I arranged the colors in an ombre order to create this look. I love how it turned out!
I topped the card off with a Delicates die cut and enamel dot, and stamped a pair of sentiments from the new Sentiment Staples: I Love You, as well.

I've got another project for you, using that same set of From the Heart dies, as well as a few tiny words from the set, to build the little sentiment. I couldn't resist putting some Delicates die cuts on the hearts! See how doily-ish they look?!! I love it!!
I kept a couple of the heart dies wired together just as they come, to cut out a few hearts with open-heart centers, before cutting the dies apart and cutting out some solid hearts too. Then, I just used some spray adhesive and a few white Delicates die cuts, adhering them on the hearts and them trimming around the edges. Then, I'd use the remaining Delicates bits that I cut off, on other smaller hearts. Easy peasy!
It's funny how this card even started though. I literally had a pile of these various heart die cuts on my desk that I'd cut out for use on other projects. But I looked down at one point, and things had gotten shuffled all around my desk and these pretty hearts were all there in a pile and looked so pretty! So, I grabbed them all up and then went to town adding the Delicates die cuts to them. Funny how certain color combos sort of make themselves! I just look down at the mess and see something pretty and go with it! Haha!

And one more for you.....this one features a fun little stamp set from Lizzie Jones called Everyday Elixir Labels. The little label images coordinate with the bottle labels from her previously released Wicked Elixir stamp set, this time putting a love spin on the labels.
I stamped one of the label images on the label and die cut the little pink bottle with the Wicked Elixir dies, and layered those on a pair of Delicates die cuts, as well as a circle that I cut out with the new Nesting Basics: Circles labels. Behind that, anchoring everything, is a strip of weathervane card stock.
To create the fun little background pattern, I used a pair of images - the "x" and the heart trio from Everyday Elixir Labels. I'm seeing just now though, that I mounted the background panel upside down! Haha!! Oopsie....guess I'd better turn that around before I give it to my honey! Or maybe I should give it to him as is, and see if he even notices!! LOL.
HERE'S A TIP FOR YOU: Always make sure you adhere your background patterns right side up! You're welcome....I know I'm just FULL of helpful tips and tricks and I'm sure you never would have figured this one out on your own, so I'm glad I could be here to share my vast wealth of crafty knowledge with you!!
