Hey Friends!
I'm up this week for Throwback Thursday at Papertrey Ink and this week, we're showcasing O'Tannenbaum! If you're needing a last minute Christmas card that doesn't involve a lot of fuss or extra supplies, grab your O'Tannenbaum stamp set! It makes it easy to whip up a cute card -- or even some gift tags -- in a snap! I'd forgotten all the tree-building options this set gives you and had a lot of fun stamping up my pretty little trees!
I used three different colors and four stamps, to create my little potted forest and then, simply fussy cut each one. This may look like a lot of work, but it really only took a few minutes.
HERE'S A TIP FOR YOU: When fussy cutting, try and keep the same amount of white border around your image all the way around it. However much border you've got around your pot at the bottom, for instance, try to keep that same border width around the entire piece. That'll ensure that your fussy cutting looks as much like an actual die cut as possible.
To mount that strip of vellum to the card front, I only attached it with the foam adhesive that's holding the trees to the card front. I didn't use any adhesive on the actual vellum itself. I just backed the trees with the foam adhesive, and stuck them on the card, with the vellum laid in place behind them.
I used one of the Skinny Mini Banner dies with one of the sentiments from the set....I'm telling you, those little dies work with sooo many different stamp sets! And that was that! Simple but cute Christmas card that doesn't require a ton of time or work! It's the week of Christmas, people! At this point, pretty much all of the projects need to be quick, right?? :)
