Hey, Friends! Ok, so I have a confession to make.....I think creating for Valentine's Day is my favorite because it gives me the perfect excuse to use pink and red on nearly everything! Haha! If you've been around here long, then you know I dearly love me some pink and red and I had the best time using those colors on today's cards!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on December 15 at 10pm EST.
I started out by stamping an image from this month's Corner Adorner: December set and did a bit of ink blending to get the pink-to-red fade.
I used the new XO Skinny Mini stamp set and XO Skinny Mini Tags dies, to create these super cute tags! I watercolored a panel of watercolor card stock and die cut it with a couple of tags from the set, and cut a few more from pink and red card stock. Then, as you can see, I layered some Delicates die cuts on each one....some got one Delicates layer and one got two. Spray adhesive makes this really easy. After I had each one glued in place, I just trimmed off the excess. You can usually get at least two tags out of a single Delicates die cut, by doing it this way.
For the tag on the right, I stamped it with some stamps from the XO Skinny Mini set....the hearts are one stamp and the sentiment is another. Then, I strung them on some twine and adhered them to the card front with some foam adhesive.

For this card, I used more of those same doily tags, but just used them as an accent and a sentiment place holder and paired them with Lizzie's new Bold Borders: Love die and Glorious Globes: December stamps.
The sentiment is one from Glorious Globes: December and I really love the neutral tags. How pretty would these be on a gift bag?! Or even on a Christmas gift right about now?!
I saved out a few of the hearts that I popped out of the Bold Borders die cut frame, and used them to accent the globe with a bit of foam adhesive. So fun!
HERE'S A TIP FOR YOU: Be sure to save out those little hearts or other pieces you pop out of your die cuts, and tuck them into the storage envelope or whatever you keep that same die in. That way, you always have some tiny hearts when you need them. And you might even want them to pop back into future die cuts of the same die. There's no use throwing those little cuties away!
