Hiiii, Crew! I'm back for day 2 of Countdown fun with Papertrey, and there are a several new products we're introducing today, starting with the Worth the Wait and Even More: Worth the Wait stamp sets designed by Jennifer Campbell! Technically the sets were designed to be used for lots of different baby-themed projects, but I wanted to show you another way you can use the sets in case you don't have need for a baby project at the moment, so I made this fun card for my handsome hubby!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on January 15 at 10pm EST.
I love those little streamers, and I die cut five of them -- there are five different ones in the set -- from colored card stocks and then stamped them in various ink colors. I added the "string" image in black across the top of the Scalloped Stackers die cut.
I did some ink blending on the "love you to the moon and back", by inking the top half in new leaf ink and the bottom half in hawaiian shores. The result is that when they blended in the middle, it looks like I used a third color....a minty green. Love that!
Lastly, I die cut the word "baby" and stamped it with new leaf ink on the hawaiian shores card stock. Can't wait to give this card to Bartley!

Next up is a new stamp set by Rebecca Luminarias called Frame it Out: What's Inside. I used the frame image here, to stamp the confetti frame in tropical teal and new leaf inks, on the aqua mist oval. I cut the oval out with one of the new Nesting Basics: Oval dies and then added the Nesting Basics: Pierced Ovals to the whole oval, by leaving those dies wired together and running them thru the die cutting machine to pierce all of the ovals at once.
I topped the oval with one of my Delicates dies from last month's release and added a sentiment from Frame It Out: What's Inside, on top, stamped in another Nesting Basics: Oval die cut.
Along the bottom of the card, I used the Round Off Edger dies, to add a bit more visual interest with the stitched edge and the scalloped border. Side note: How fun are those three colors together? Tropical Teal, Saffron Spice and New Leaf....love!
