Hello, Friends! Welcome, welcome! I'm so glad you've stopped over today.....if you were here in person, I'd make you a cup of yummy coffee and we could sit and chat about this pretty little stack of cards I've made to show you! But since we can't do that in person, this is the next best thing! Feel free to get comfy and stay awhile!
I'm honored to be participating in a Blog Hop today, in honor of the new release at Pretty Pink Posh, which is very tropical and colorful and of course all of that is right up my ally! Be sure and read all the way to the end of the post, so you can see where to head next on the Hop, and to see how you can be entered to win a giveaway from Pretty Pink Posh!! There are four $25 gift cards up for grabs, so you'll want to be sure and get entered to win!
Also of note: All of these new goodies I'll be showing you today, are AVAILABLE NOW! There's no waiting to get your hands on them, so if you see something you just have to have, I'll have it linked in the supply lists after each card, so you can find them easily in the Pretty Pink Posh store.
Before we get to the projects, let me just interject that I'm thrilled to be supporting Paulina at Pretty Pink Posh today, because she's just about as sweet as can be. I met Paulina wayyyyyyy back, like maybe at the first CHA I ever attended?!! (Do you remember what year, Paulina?) And back then, I was just starting out in the paper crafting business and so was Paulina. And she can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think back then, PPP only sold sequins? So, to see her company grow and flourish into what it is today, with a variety of paper crafting supplies, just makes me so happy. I'm honored to be joining in the blog hop today, and happy to share my sweet friend's products with you!
So now that we've got all of those details out of the way, let's chat about these cards, shall we? I'm excited to get right to it!
So for this first card, I used the new Hibiscus Flowers stamp set and coordinating dies. (Side note: In case you missed it in my Instagram Stories the other day, I put up a poll asking how you pronounce the word Hibiscus. Do you say Hibiscus or Hye-biscus? Turns out, a lot of you pronounce it like I do (Hibiscus)....which, I'm sorry to tell you, is wrong according to the dictionary! Hahaha! But the final results of the poll are that 60% pronounce it right - HYE-biscus, while 40% of you are with me! So there you have it. LOL!)
Anyhoooo, back to the card.....I stamped some leaves on the card base, and then stamped some flowers and leaves on watercolor card stock, and colored them with my Zigs and a water brush. We have seven hibiscus plants in our own garden -- both tropical, as well as hardy -- so I used the colors of our flowers as inspiration for some of these. I stamped the sentiment from the new Tropical Toucans stamp set and then added a little die cut toucan tucked into the flowers. I added some Citrus Mix jewels to finish things off. They're iridescent on one side, but I really liked the pops of solid, matte color on the back side, so I glued them all on upside down! So fun!

Ok, now how fun is this rainbow background?! I used the new stencil and blended on the colors. After the blending was done, I cut the panel into two pieces and adhered them onto the card front with a split in the middle.
Then, I die cut lots of the Happy Summer Script sentiment die....5 from white card stock and one from black. I used spray adhesive to glue all the layers together, and then popped the stacks onto the card. I added a few watercolored flowers and leaves from the Hibiscus Flowers set and topped the flower with a few jewels.

Ok, one more for today! I made a fun little note card this time around. I left the sentiment off, so I can use this one for whatever, whenever. :)
To start things off, I used the new Tropical Frame die, to cut out some watercolor card stock. I blended on several different colors of ink in a variety of greens and teals, and then flicked water drops onto the paper with a water brush. The frame is layered on a white card base.
Then, I added more die cut Hibiscus Flowers and another toucan, and added a die cut circle from the new Beach Scene die. This handy little die is pretty versatile, when you consider that the outer circle of the beach scene can be used on ANY type of card, tropical or otherwise!

Contest details: There are four $25 gift certificates up for grabs (two winners each day). Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 6/17/2019. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.
So, all you have to do to enter to win, is leave a comment! And since I know by the time you've left comments at a few blogs, you might be running out of things to say. So here are some fun questions you could answer, if you'd like!
You could....
- Tell me which product you're most excited about!
- Tell me if this is your first time here at my blog! (If so, welcome! I'm so glad you're here!)
- Tell me if you've ever shopped at Pretty Pink Posh before! (If you did, what do you love from there?)
- Tell me how long you've been paper crafting! (Are you a rookie or an old pro? Or somewhere in between?)
- Tell me how you'd take your coffee (or tea!) if you were sitting at my kitchen table with me!
Ok, can't wait to hear your answers!
