Hey, Friends! I'm so glad you dropped in today, because it's the first day of release week over at The Greetery, so I've got a pile of cards to share with you this week, all showcasing new products that will be available at The Greetery on Friday! Be sure to keep an eye out on The Greetery Blog this week, too, for lots of inspiration!
So, the theme of this release is "Get Cozy, Get Crafty" so there are lots of fall themed goodies coming out this week, all of which are perfect for staying in and creating something lovely during the fall and winter months! Just wait till you see everything! For today, we're showcasing a couple of new stamp sets as well as some new dies! Let's dive right in to the projects!
So to start things off, I started out with a white card base here, and blended on some ink and then topped it with a pair of sentiments from Cotton Comforts. I then stamped a pile of pretty die cut leaves and berries using the new Autumn Sketches stamp set....goodness, I love these images! I had to stamp some of the first ones in red, in honor of my favorite tree in our backyard, our Autumn Blaze Maple! I LOVE this color combo of the reds and plums together!
I used one of the new Halfsies dies, to cut out the two kraft panels and popped them on the card, with the leaves peeking out from the opening.

Next up is a soft and sweet one....leave it to Betsy to figure out how to create cotton stem stamps! GAH! I stamped mine in the palest of pinks, to give the feel of white, but with a tiny hint of color.
PRO TIP: Lighten your colors up even more, by stamping them off one or more times, before stamping them on your actual project. I did this trick on both the pink and the brown on my cotton stems.
I used one of my blending brushes to blend some pink ink onto my soft pink card base, and then die cut another of the Halfsies dies, to add the kraft strip at the bottom of the card.
I stamped a sentiment from the new Sentiment Suite Thank You stamp set, and die cut a couple of little flags from the Halfsies die collection, stamping one of those with a sentiment from Autumn Sketches.

One more for today.....this one combines both Cotton Comforts as well as Autumn Sketches! I used a Crimped Frame die that was released last month, to cut out the kraft layer. I stamped the large outline branch image with versamark ink, on both the kraft layer and the card base. I also stamped a small sentiment on it from Sentiment Suite Thank You.
I used a couple different shades of pale pink on my cotton stems....see how one is a tad more lavender? This is just another way to add a bit more interest to your die cuts.
I popped the cotton stems on, as well as more die cut leaves and a branch from Autumn Sketches.
All right, friends, I've got to run, but I'll be back tomorrow with more to share.....it's gonna be a fun week!!
