Hello there and welcome!! Today, I'm joining in with The Greetery, to participate in Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags! The Greetery has just come out with a couple new paper packs of pre-printed tags that fit the previously released Speed Tagging die, and they are SOOOOOO fun!! I couldn't resist busting them out for today's fun tag post! (These new tag packs are linked in the supply list below!)
There are two different packs of color coordinated tags, and each pack has 6 pages of printed tags, with 7 tags on each page. Using the Speed Tagging die, I ran those 6 pages of tags through the die cutting machine, and cut out the entire pack (42 tags!) in a matter of just a few minutes because the Speed Tagging die cuts all 7 tags out at once! In fact, it was so fast and easy, that I die cut both packs (I'll share the other color way soon!) so they're all ready to go!!
Now the beauty of these tags is, they're already pre-printed with cute patterns and colors, so really, all they need is a sentiment stamped on them and they're good to go! But, I happen to love making tags and piling on the floral layers! So I added pretty little stamped die cuts from a variety of sets, mixing and matching on the tags! Aren't they FUNNN?!
PRO TIP: Don't feel like your tag absolutely HAS to have a sentiment on the front! There's not a thing wrong with a cutie-pie little tag with some flowers or branches on it, and no wording at all!
Another PRO TIP: Tie the tiniest tags on the biggest ones, for multi-layer, interactive tags!
Seriously, once I got started, it was hard to stop! I whipped up 17 tags in no time!! And that, of course, means that I still have a huge pile of additional tags that I can add to whenever I need them!
PRO TIP: I don't ever worry about writing the to/from on the front of the tag! Just write it on the back (or stamp it!) and that way, the front is alllll about the pretty!
ONE MORE PRO TIP: We always write on the back of the tags in pencil! The tags are so cute and colorful, that we reuse them from one year to the next! Obviously, some of them, you may be giving away to people outside your home. But you can save all the ones from the people inside your home, to keep and reuse next year! Erase and rewrite, or reuse as is! It's always fun now, to pull out cute tags I made a few years ago, with Bart's and my handwriting on the back, and see fun little notes we wrote each other!
