Hey there! Welcome back for a few bonus projects using the new Leaf & Blade collection from The Greetery! And thank you, if you click any of my affiliate links to head over and do your shopping! I appreciate that more than you know!
So, for today's projects, let's jump in!
First up, you know I have to add some turquoise and teal in wherever I can! Ha! I LOVED pulling out the wood slice dies for this one, and really loved using Rusty ink on the kraft wood slice layer, to give it a really warm, rich wood look!
I piled on the die cut layers from this release, with branches and sprigs from Botanicuts Ginkgo, Pampas Grass and Layered Leaves. (Side note: Goodness, I love those Layered Leaves in aquas and greens!!!)
PRO TIP: Don't ever feel like you can only use florals for Spring and Summer! For the background, I used the Fresh Floral background stamp and some embossing ink. I just wanted a soft background that almost blended in and just gave it a bit of texture more than anything. And I love the juxtaposition of the soft floral background with the harder wood slice. Just a really pretty and unexpected combo.
For the sentiment, I grabbed a favorite....Opposites Attract. You can't go wrong with that one!

Next up, I pulled out the previously released Botanicuts Pine Bough.....another great one for mixing with all of the branches and sprigs from this Leaf & Blade collection! The pinecones and their branches tucked in, were the perfect addition to the Pampas Grass die cuts! I layered them on a crimped circle die cut.
The sentiment is comprised of some Alphabuds stamps and the new Let's Have a Word: Autumn die and a few little enamel dots finished this one off!
PRO TIP: It can be so fun to be brave and go a bit unexpected with your colors. I know I say it often, but there's no reason you can't do something really crazy on your Fall cards, like work some soft pinks into your pampas grass if you feel like it! Haha! Not being afraid to branch out a bit with color, is what can take your cards from drab to fab in no time!
{Happy Autumn supplies}
OK, no need to adjust your screen lighting on this one! Yes, I did in fact, actually make this card that is practically devoid of all color!! Hahahahaha! Actually, I have a friend who this card totally made me think of as I started seeing all the pieces come together, and while I normally don't make cards this neutral, I had fun making it knowing how much she'll love it! I can't wait to send it to her!
I pulled out a couple of the different Macrame die sets to create the fun pattern and interest, and topped it simply with a new Layered Leaves branch. Nice and easy.
The sentiment is of course, the new Let's Have a Word: Autumn and a Fall Foliage stamp.

And of course, here's a group shot of today's beauties and below, is the whole line-up from this week!!
Do you have a favorite card front this group? I'd love to hear!
