Hey, Friends! It's day 2 of Leaf & Blade introductions at The Greetery! Lots more fun stuff to show you today, so let's jump right in!
Firstly, I'm aware that this is a Fall release which would tend to make you think of warm tones for classic Fall colors, but you didn't expect me to have an entire release with no pink in it, did you??? LOL! At this point, I think I can almost always make room for some bright pink! Haha!
So, if you follow me on instagram, then you may have seen my Reel video last week, showing how I stamped these vintage looking amber bottles and the perfect color combo I used! If you missed it, it's still there in my Feed and in my Reels section, too, so you can watch it any time you're on the gram. And I've linked up those ink colors below.
There's a new die set releasing tomorrow, called Curio Autumn which coordinates with all the Curio products that released last month. Rather than use them with the Curio goodies, though, I wanted to show you how you can use them with the Bottled Up bottles!
These Curio Autumn dies are GOOD. Like, you can use some of these year-round! Die cut them from colored card stock, add some shading with a q-tip and ink and bam! I piled them in the jars for some little Fall bouquets.
PRO TIP: To balance the bottle scene so it's not "top heavy" with all the florals/foliage only at the top of the card in the bottles, I added a little grouping at the base of the bottles, too.

Next up, I pulled out the Shiplap Builder die to create the background!
PRO TIP: Just like with real shiplap, I left a tiny gap between the boards so the kraft card base shows through. It gives a little definition to your 'boards' so it doesn't look like a plain white background. Definitely gives it a little more texture and interest.
I used the new, really delicate, Rustic Wreath dies to create this pretty wreath! I went with all coral/soft pink tones for the branches, and die cut the base wreath layer from a darker brown.
PRO TIP: The darker base color and lighter branches gives the wreath depth and more of a realistic, dimensional feel.
Once I had the wreath made, it felt to me sort of like one of those grapevine wreaths you get at the craft store, so I dressed it up with a focal point that included more Curio Autumn die cuts.
The sentiment is from the Rustic Wreath stamp set. If you'd rather not die cut the branches, you can stamp them, thanks to the coordinating stamp set!

For this one, I went with a brighter color combo and sneaked some teal and bright red in there! :)
I used the new Fall Foliage stamps, dies and hot foil plates to make this card!
PRO TIP: See that white card base? Hot foil plates can create some really deep debossed texture! I used four of the hot foil plates from the set, to impress a leaf pattern into the card base, and then layered the colorful die cuts on top!
The sentiment is from Fall Foliage paired with the Let's Have a Word: Autumn die.
PRO TIP: Not sure what colors to stamp on colored card stock? Stamp the same color as the card stock! That's what I did on all of these die cuts, stamping each one in the matching color of ink. You can see, you just get a really rich, deep color and there's no guesswork involved!

And of course, a group glamour shot because....gah. I love seeing them all together!!
