Hello there! It's day 2 of new product introductions with The Greetery and goodness, there are some fun new things to show you today! Let's jump right in!
Firstly, let's talk about the new Curio: Confections die that includes all these bits and pieces to make a box of chocolates!! It, of course, pairs with the Curio die and goodness, I had fun using my ink blending brushes to color each of these sweet treats!
I die cut them all from white card stock, left the pieces in the negative card stock, and blended the ink right on. It's super fast to do that way.
PRO TIP: Use a sticky note to cover up pieces that you don't want to get ink on, when you're using different colors. For instance, when I was blending on pink or red, I covered up the chocolates that I was going to blend brown ink on. Make sense? Simple but effective and it makes it a really quick process to get all the little bits and pieces colored.
I also used the new BotaniCuts: Strawberries die, as well as the new Strawberry Dippers die, to add the chocolate covered strawberries to my chocolate box.
PRO TIP: I kept all the chocolate "wrappers" white, but to give them a bit more realistic dimension, I fluffed them forward a bit, before nestling the chocolates inside the little "cups".
I used the new All Kinds of Happy stamp set, die and Shadow die, to create the sentiment.
Lastly, I used some of the new little Heart Sprinkles to accent some of the tops of the chocolates! They're so darn cute!

One more for today......here, I used the BotaniCuts: Strawberry to be the star of the show, paired with another really pretty die from All Kinds of Happy, and then added a companion sentiment from the stamp set.
I love how quick it is to color these up!
PRO TIP: I added a bit of shading with a q-tip and a darker red ink, up at the top of the strawberries. As for the shading on the leaves, I just applied a bit more pressure to the center of the leaf cluster, to darken the bases of the leaves.
Here, I used that same darling Frosted Frames die, but in this case, I used the scallops and the outer edge that the die cuts. It's such a versatile die, in that there are so many combinations of ways you can use the pieces!
