Hello, sweet friends! It's release time again at The Greetery and this release is about as cute as they come! Feast your eyes on the new Confections Collection!! I can't tell you how fun it is to stamp up all sorts of confectionary delights! Just picture a fancy sweets shop with all their colorful candies and chocolates and such and let that be your inspiration! You can stamp these sweet treats in any color combos you can dream up!
First up today, let me tell you about the new Sweet Tooth stamp set and dies, because it's my favorite! Ha!
The set is full of adorable sweets.....donuts, chocolates, cookies, etc. I stamped a pile of pretties and layered them on a red background for a Valentine feel.
That sentiment is a combination of the new Piped Sentiments: Sweet die and some companion sentiments from the new Love & Cookies stamp set. I simply die cut the Sweet from white card stock and from pink, and layered them so the white creates a shadow behind the pink.
The "you've been so" is from Love & Cookies and is all on the same line on the stamp.
PRO TIP: Remember that if a sentiment doesn't fit your space & design needs, you may be able to cut your sentiment apart after stamping, or you can even mask before stamping. In this case, I stamped the whole sentiment and cut it into two pieces, so it fit in the corner where I needed it to.
Lastly, we have to talk about that scalloped border!!! It's part of the new Frosted Frames die, which cuts out three pieces (there are also some additional dies included in the set.). I have not loved a scalloped border more...maybe EVER! It's just so darn sweet! Use it alone like I did here, or layer it up with the other pieces it cuts out, for a multi-colored or textured look! This one is GOOD, my friends!!

Next up is Love & Cookies, paired with more Frosted Frames!
Here's that same scalloped border along with the piece that it cuts in the middle. So cute, right??
I laso layered on the rectangle frame from Frosted Frames. See how it looks like frosting?
I die cut the LOVE cookies from red, pink and peach and then layered them on the base layer.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Love & Cookies. How fun is that sentiment??
