Hello, Friends! It's time for another fun release at The Greetery, so today, we're introducing the Breath of Spring Collection!
I'll be sharing lots of quick little card making process Reels videos using these new release items, over on my Instagram page! So be sure to follow me there, so you don't miss any of them this week!
PRO TIP: This Spring collection perfect because I've recently been super inspired by a green and white color palette, and in fact, issued a color challenge last week on Instagram, using said palette. I painted a couple of paintings in this "greens and white" color combo last week and decided to use the same colors to make a series of cards for this release! It's been a really fun creative challenge, to take a single color palette and use it in many different ways! As you'll see, I took a bit of creative license and added in touches of other colors on a couple of the cards in tomorrow's post and that's totally fine. The point of the color challenge was just to get inspired and CREATE, so that's what I've done! And as I worked, if a certain card called for it, I added in other colors as needed. The end result though, as I'll show you in a few days, is a really cohesive group of cards all in the same basic color palette, that I had so much fun making! If you haven't ever done this sort of thing to challenge your creativity and get those creative juices flowing, I highly recommend!!
So to start off, allow me to show you the newest in the Print Shop line up: Spring Mix! The collection includes stencils and coordinating stamps that go on top, as well as some fun dies. Of course there are the usual individual flower and leaf dies, but this set also includes one large die that covers most of the front of an A2 card! I used it here. I stenciled on five layers of colors with blending brushes and then stamped the details on top. Lastly, I topped it off with three extra individual flower die cuts.
PRO TIP: Remember, even your flowers can be shades of green! So often, we think we have to reserve green for just the leaves! Not this time, friends! If you want to make an all-over green card, let some of your flowers be green. Or, you'll notice I did some of mine in a really soft gray and then did the centers in shades of greens. This keeps the overall palette feeling cohesive, but allows the flowers to stand out a bit from all the green leaves.

For this card, I used the new Springtime stamps & dies which coordinate with the previously released Hourglass dies.
Again, I stuck with my same color combo, adding in a pop of citrine.
PRO TIP: I stamped the bunny in light teal tones. Again, bunnies don't always have to be realistic colors! Don't be afraid to have fun with your color choices so that your card works with your overall color theme!
I stamped the flowers directly on the card base, and then added the die cut hourglass, bunny and banner layers on top.
PRO TIP: Change up your dimension layers! I've got three layers of dimension here. The card front, then the hourglass layers that are adhered flat, followed by the bunny and banner that are popped up on foam adhesive. These different depths are subtle but they help to make the card a bit more interesting.
