Hello there! It's the 3rd anniversary celebration release at The Greetery, and this gorgeous release is called the Garden Variety collection! It will likely come as no surprise to most of you, that a garden-centered release would be right up my alley! Haha! SO, it is with great joy that I present to you my projects featuring the Day 1 product introductions!
Oh, and just a note to be sure to keep an eye on my Instagram this week, as I'll be sharing some process Reels videos so you can watch me making some of the cards I'll be sharing here!
Let's dive right in!
This first pair of cards features one of the TWO new Print Shop collections in this release! This one is Print Shop: Garden Goodness, and as with the other Print Shop collections, this one has stamps, stencils and various dies available!
One unique and really fun thing about this set, is that the die that coordinates with the stencils, allows you to cut alllllll the pieces out at once, after you've stenciled them! Holy moly, talk about fast and easy!
That's exactly what I did here. I used the stencils to color the whole pile of embellishments all at once, and then die cut them with one pass, using the companion die. All that was left to do, was adhere everything to the card front!
The sentiment is another new item this week -- Scripty Hello die. It's a beauty!
PRO TIP: Everything is adhered with foam adhesive except the sentiment, which is glued flat. Having the sentiment at a different depth than all of the embellishments, just adds another bit of visual interest.
It was so fun to arrange all the die cuts to create this big floral cluster.
PRO TIP: For visual balance, I added a second smaller cluster in the opposite corner.
So, when I was stenciling the panel that I die cut for the previous card, I was also stenciling a second panel for this card. However, I left this one in tact rather than die cutting! So this card gives you a look at what the stenciled panel looks like if you choose not to die cut it.
I used the previously released Frosted Frames die to cut out the cute border and added a frame in red, that I die cut using the same die. I layered it all on some purple card stock, so that the scallop detail shows through in the negative space!
PRO TIP: Don't forget to let die cut negative space work for you, too! I could have added the thin scalloped die cut piece in the negative space, but didn't need to. I still got the color pop I was after, and created a bit of texture by leaving it out!

Next up, I used the new Print Shop: Daisy Days collection to create this pair of cards! This collection includes stamps, stencils a die and there are even pre-printed papers with solid backgrounds and you just stencil in all the flowers! I used two of those papers here -- the gray and the black. There are several colors in the set.
Again while I was stenciling, I did two at a time.
PRO TIP: That way, while I had a certain color of ink on the stencil, I was getting two cards out of the deal before needing to wash the stencil. I always prefer to stencil more than one at a time, since I have to go to the sink to wash the stencils and then either dry them carefully or wait for them to air dry.
You can see the different colors on the flowers and leaves....those were all stenciled in and then I topped it with the Scripty Hello die cut and frame.
I also used the Daisy Days die to cut out a few additional die cuts and add them for dimension. Finally, I finished it off with a few enamel dots.
For this card, I decided to skip the Scripty Hello frame die and just use the sentiment alone.
PRO TIP: To allow a really thin sentiment to POP, be sure to layer it on a solid background rather than anything busy. Here, I just cut a strip of card stock to anchor my sentiment, notched out the side with paper snips, and finished it off with a couple die cuts and enamel dots.
Again, all the flowers and leaves were stenciled....this time, on a pre-printed gray background paper.
