Hey, Friends! Welcome! Come on in and put your feet up! Well, maybe grab a cup of something before you settle in. I've got lots to show you today, because The Greetery has a beeeeautiful new collection launching tomorrow, called Wild Elegance! Oh my word, I could NOT stop creating with this set! I have a pretty pile of cards to share with you today, and another pile to show you tomorrow!
Also, keep an eye on my Instagram today and tomorrow, because I've got some Reels videos to share with you, in case you'd like to see a bit of my process in making these cards!
This post is kind of long and I've got lots for you to see, so let's dig right in with some new favorites! Holy moly, I can see myself using these new Floral Arches stamps, stencils and dies a LOT. Especially when paired with the new Arched Sentiments stamps and dies.....perfect!! Dang, these were fun to make!
I used the Floral Arches stamps, stencils and die to create the floral border. Inside that, I used the new Arched Sentiments stamps and dies to create the sentiment! Isn't it just so fun?! And there is a whole set of different sentiment options like this one! LOVE! So unique and pretty!
Look at all those different colors on the border! Those were all stenciled, except for the little detail bits layered on top, which were stamped. SO many color options here! Endless options, really!
PRO TIP: When you're stenciling, be sure to apply more pressure to some spots of your inking and lighten up on others. That will just give you even MORE color variation on your images!

Ahhh.....I love this one! The birthday sentiment is perfect and could be used for masculine or feminine cards.
I love the white on white frame here. It's simple and really lets the florals shine!
In this case, I used the companion arch stencil, to stencil that turquoise color onto the card base, and then stamped the sentiment arch on top!

Next up is another pretty stamp set and companion stencils and die set called Sketched Wildflower Bouquet. I used the new Sketched Wildflower Frame rubber stamp on the background, to add a little monochromatic floral interest, and then used the Sketched Wildflower Bouquet stamps, die and stencils to color those pretty bouquets.
PRO TIP: For a really simple but striking card, you can stamp that bouquet in a monochromatic color on a colored card stock, and leave it just like that! It's a really beautiful even without being colored in! I had a card I intended to show you, so you could see what I mean, but ran out of time. But take my word for it! Really pretty, even left as a line image with no coloring! You'll be able to sort of see what I mean on the next card below!
PRO TIP: I plan out my colors a bit, when I do stenciling like this, by deciding before-hand, what colors do I know will layer well on top of others colors. I know that red layers well over pink, so that's how I chose what colors I would use for what layers of the stencils. Had I reversed the order of those two stencils, the pink likely wouldn't have shown up well on top of red. With a bit of thought ahead of time, you can create some really stunning color groupings!
Note that on the little tag, I used that tip I gave you earlier. When I was stenciling the color onto the tag, I applied more pressure on the right side of the tag, and left it lighter on the left. It just adds some depth and some interest to your stenciling.

Ooh la la! Do these colors just SING or what?! Man, I love them! On this one, you can see a bit of the stamping on the pink layer. That's the same bouquet, stamped in the same color of the ink as the card stock!
PRO TIP: I kind of shared this tip last release, but I used the same bouquet stamp as the focal image, to serve as "filler" to fluff out the bouquet by adding it to the background. I just positioned it lower than the focal bouquet, so you don't really notice that it's the same image!
Those colors make my eyeballs so happy! Haha!
For the yellow background, I stamped the Sketched Wildflower frame in tone on tone. Such a pretty effect to drive home the floral theme, without taking attention away from that focal bouquet.
{With Love supplies}

One more simple monochromatic one for today. I used the new Color Spots stencils to add the rectangle of color to the card base. Then, I stamped some of the florals from Lovely Silhouettes on top, and finished it off with a sentiment from the same set.
PRO TIP: Choosing three monochromatic colors of ink, like you see here, makes this type of card reeeeally easy! And you can do this with any color family! Just start with your lightest color in the back, and add your florals and sentiment on top, working from lightest to darkest in front.
I used the same color of card stock for the "LOVE" and the new Elegant Arches frame, and stamped the LOVE with the same ink color (the darkest in my trio) as the rest of the sentiment, for cohesion.
I used one of the new A2 Arches dies to die cut the center of the arch, but you could also just stamp the arch on your card base, without cutting out the center. So many ways to use it!
